JCC R-rated holiday movies

    Currently watching Lethal Weapon. I count this as a holiday classic. Die Hard 1 and 2 as well. Also a little known movie called The Ref starring Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey. I'll take these over It's a Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street any day. What's your favorite R rated holiday flick?

    That movie is a childhood favorite of mine. Thus proving I had an awesome childhood. That movie is set in Detroit, if it was the holidays there would have been snow everywhere.

    ah, but see ocp had already developed weather-controlling technology years ago and had sold it to the city, thereby eliminating snowfall forever. ocp runs the cops.

    OP I agree with Die Hard. Holiday classic right there. I never thought of Lethal Weapon but IA it qualifies.

    It's fun, exciting & entertaining to explore other aspects of the season/day, especially in comedic/"off kilter" ways. Plenty of room for both types of films.

    1) Die Hard
    2) Scrooged
    3) Lethal Weapon
    4) A Muppet Christmas Carol
    5) A Christmas Story
    6) Miracle on 34th Street
    7) Iron Man 3

    and that's as far as I got...
