Det, MI R2-Detroit June Meeting

Here's a quick rundown of tonight's meeting:

The regular meeting was preceded by the book club meeting.This month's selection was 'Shadows of the Empire.In attendance were:Lori,Sandy,Trevor,Brian,Jeff,Ian,and Dan.It was decided that the book club should meet on alternating months,so the next book club meeting will precede the August R2 meeting and the book will be 'Truce at Bakura' by Kathy Tyers.Any thoughts or input on the book club so far?

In attendance for the regular meeting were:Lori,Sandy,Brian,Trevor,Dan,Ian,Jeff,Dave,and myself.Among the topics of conversation were Celebration 6,autograph collecting,Star Tours,various incarnations of sci-fi shows,comic books video games and who Brandon Marlo is(sorry Jeff,couldn't resist!)

 

Again wish I could have made it.

Had some family stuff that needed my immediate attention. But I eagerly await the next meeting.

As for a book to consider, I would like to reccommend "The Courtship of Princess Leia".
