I liked the Metal Gear codec thing at the end.
I love Thom Yorke, but he does dance like a douche.
New Thom Yorke side project...
sweet, i hadn't heard this yet. i found a download link for the album tonight but it had already been deleted. maybe it was fake.
wait, i have heard this. how did i hear this?
lol... no idea. I heard it for the first time, right before posting it. Maybe it was a telepathic thing... ****ing wild.
perhaps i heard a live version or something.
Yeah, that was going to be my serious answer.
Didn't you see Radiohead this past summer? Maybe you heard it then? Dunno...
I also had heard this before.
does radiohead play atoms for peas songs? i didn't think so. they didn't play any at the show i saw.
yeah, speaking of atoms for peas, i have this AWESOME bootleg of a show from back in july. songs sound so much better with the actual band than on the studio record of just thom or whatever it was. flea and joey waronker and the other percussion guy laying down completely SIGG, groovy foundations for the usual bippity-bop. wonderful, wonderful! if you want a copy, don't message me.
Okay, I wont message you, but I want a copy!
Their live performance of "Default" on The Daily Show was pretty sweet: http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-september-25-2013/atoms-for-peace----default-
it will magically appear in your inbox at an indeterminate point in the future.
yes! yes! this is of what i speak!!!
This just popped up on the Radiohead subreddit... good stuff:
I saw this post earlier in the thread and just had to reply, harps. It's funny because I felt the same way about all three albums when they were first released, but I have grown to enjoy them all immensely. Not the greatest work by any of the bands, but still some really excellent music on all of them, IMO.
this is the nacht prior:
bad sound quality but you get the idea, i think.
I guess not every Radiohead album can be an OK Computer or an In Rainbows... some have to be kind of interstitial
Sure. And hey, some people actually prefer TKOL to any other Radiohead album - different strokes. I can say that Separator, Codex, Lotus Flower, Give up the Ghost, and Little by Little have worked their way into my regular Spotify rotation. Still not in love with the other tracks, but they're not bad.
Here's some classic Radiohead for ya:
I've warmed up to all three albums, but they're definitely not my favorites by any of the groups. I have to be in the mood for it, but I'm capable of loving King of Limbs, sometimes. The Suburbs, I've also warmed up to, but again... have to be in the right mood to listen to it. Of all three, The King is Dead has grown on me the most. It took a while, but I love the album now.
