Rain Dance

Nor in P-town. It's a lot cooler than it was yesterday, though.

 

They say a chance of rain all week, so start the dance. Just don't do to good of a job, flooding everywhere, but we do need the water

 

It is raining like a big dog here!!!!! You should have heard some of the thunder boomers here at 3 am!!!!!

 

Wow. I don't remember getting any rain here last night. It looks like it's still overcast though, and thank goodness the heat wave seems to be taking a break.

 

That's 'cause she's in Atlanta!

Ack! What's the deal with the sun? Why is it coming out all of a sudden? Go away! Shoo!

 

Sun trying to poke out here too, go away!!! The Platt river here in Thornton is full, I've never seen it like this when it's not raining. The snow must really be melting.

 

Oooh, it just started lightly raining here. Keep it up, rain, keep it up!

Hopefully the cooler temps will slow down the snow melt.

Okay, I'm going to bed for real this time.

 

I heard snow sometime this week, 6,000 feet & up. Denver Metro area is only aprox 5,800 feet right?

 

Its been raining a lot today.


and our rivers are running pretty full too.

Even more good news. i heard on the radio that the fire ban will prob be lifted state wide cause of all the snow.

It did? I must have missed it. Huh. Just as well, I would have been sad and today was already annoying enough as it was.

 

give me a break . one of the reasons i wanted to get out of cali was to get away from 60 degree overcast weather . i like sunlight . it does wonders for your skin too . it changes it from a pasty white to a nice golden brown . like warm toast with just the right amount of butter on it .







little known fact ... people that live in overcast areas like monterey/san fransisco/gothom city , are more likly to be depressed .

 

Yes, but can't we at least have ONE rainy day!

 

If I recall the last two days have been dark, cloudy, just no rain.

 

I've got to admit I'm one of those weird people who actually like the overcast, cool weather. I love the weather we've been having. (Besides, I turn into a lobster in too much sun!)

There was some sun today though, right? I think I saw some the one time I was out during the day, on my way to work...

Lots more rain on the way home from picking up Shatterpoint at Media Play, though. Boy, do I miss the reflectors on lanes for the road. "Where the heck did my lane go?!?" just isn't my favorite game to play.

Hmmmm... green... and nice, fresh air.

 

Looks like all the dancing and candle burning has had some effect!!!!

Well we've had a long dry spell, what do you say we start the chanting & see what happens?

 

Let's see...on a weekend where I have an outdoor company picnic on Friday, we're all going to an outdoor movie on Saturday, and having our monthly meeting and 2 year anniversary outside on Sunday.

Um....NO!

 

It IS getting too dry. And too hot. Some rain would be very, very nice.

*looks sideways at OW* But, maybe we should wait and start the chanting and candles on Monday...

Hey, wow! That worked quick. It's turning into Kamino over here!

 

It's totally Kamino in Boulder, raining Clone Cats and Dogs. At least it didn't hit until I was in the car leaving the Picnic for home.

....I still blame Kim!!!!!

....and she'll really get it if we get rained on during the movie tomorrow

 

I think someone may have done the chanting, the candles, the spells and the running naked through the town.... The buckets just keep on coming over here!
