Raleigh FanForce meeting Sat.June 15, 12 - 1PM, Adventure Landing

Attention, all Raleigh FanForce members!

Our first official Chapter team meeting will be held from noon - 1PM at
Adventure Landing
3311 Capital Blvd.
Raleigh, NC

Fee is $5 per person to rent the room. Please bring cash.

Bring a sample of your particular interest in Star Wars with you so we can get to know each other better. I'll bring a SW Monopoly game for everyone to play.

I can bring my Star Wars Trivial Pursuit if you guys want me to. Just let me know.

 

I was thinking the same thing, go ahead and bring it! It would be great to play it with some true fans.

 

RATS! I won't be able to make it to this event. I will be laying on a sunny beach in south carolina.

You guys have fun. Be careful of Padawan with the SW trivial pursuit .. he is the master.

Maybe I can make it to the next one.

 

I will be there! I have no cool toys to bring, but I am looking forward to playing with yours!

 

So is there like 5 people coming? Or more... It's coming up real soon . I've got a friend that might be joining the club soon, hopefully a total of 3 eventually.

 

My roomate will becoming with me so she is another head in the count. I would guess around 10 will end up showing up.

 

do we only have the room from 12 -1 or do we have it longer?

Chuck, we can extend the time till 2PM. as long as we explain that to mgmt ahead of time... no problem. Tomorrows the day!

Wow that was fun!!!! Natalie, Chuck, his sig other, Mike, and Mahmood were there along with the wifey and yours truly. We went around the room and intro'd ourselves again and spoke about our own unique SW interests.
I showed off my SW CCG collection. Natalie discussed her book collection. Chuck told us about his SW toys. Mike and Mahmood talked about their interests too.

Then it was party time. Mike, Natalie and I did the laser tag thingy... they rocked, I got a dud unit and got my hutt kicked .

Afterwards it was tee time at the miniature golf links, and it was I who was now the master. I intimidated everyone with my cheesy Jabba laugh impression, and used my Jedi mind trick (and lots of past 'muscle memory skill' hah!) to win this skirmish.

Fun time had by all! Let's do it again!

 

Wish I couldn've stayed for the games, but I had to go to work.
