Chapter 2

The six chosen sat in a semicircle, talking.

?We need a ship.?
?What about your ship, Mara??

They looked at her, questioningly.

?Uh-uh, no good! The author got angry when I asked for a pay rise, and blew her up.?

They stared at Mara for a second.

?Wait, how come you get payed and we don?t??
?It was in my contract!?
?You got a contract!??

They turned around to look at Evil-Wan_Kenobi, grinning maniacally.

?Um, I don?t like the way this story is going??

*Crosses out the above and starts again*

The six chosen sat in a semicircle, talking over what to pack. In turn, they all stood, saying what they wished to pack. First to stand was Jag.

They looked at him, flabbergasted.

?What do you mean you want extra cardboard??
?????..?
?Cardboard cut-outs can?t grow taller!?

Jag did a cardboard cut-out?s equivalent to a shrug and sat back down. This time, it was Luke who stood.

?I wanna take a lighter!?
?Why??
?In case I go crazy, and decide to set alight everything that is in my sight! I thought that would be obvious?.?

As he sat back down, the people closest to him edged away. Mara stood up, it was her turn now.

?I want to take one thousand frozen breadsticks!?

They nodded. This was something they could understand. After all, you couldn?t club people to death if you didn?t have a frozen breadstick. Mara sat back down, and Kyp took her place, looking starry eyed.

?I wish to bring?.The entire planet?s source of potatoes!?
?Mmmm, extra rations??

Kyp shot a dark look at the speaker, who in this case was Jacen. Grudgingly, he stopped planning death to him and looked to the next speaker, Jaina.

?I wish to take Jacen?s pink tutu.?

They stared, thinking she was joking. Finally Jacen piped up.

?Hey! I?m taking that!?

Jaina sat back down, the others transferring their stares to Jacen. He stood, taking her place.

?I wanna take my pink leotard to match my pink tutu!?

Luke nudged Mara, it was her turn to make a snide remark about someone else?s choice.

?Ummm?No comment??

The next thing on their agenda had been to find a ship. That task was handed to the twins. At the current moment, our two heroes were looking at their father warily.
((Sorry, I always wanted to use that cliché))

?Hey dad, you look great today!?
?Yeah, absolutely spiffing!?

Han looked down at his offspring, distrust evident in his face.

?Five things:
1. What do you want?
2. Stop sucking up.
3. Get me a coffee, damnit!
4. I can?t count properly.?

Jacen looked mutinous.

?Get your own damn coffee!....I mean, oh father dear, might we request the borrowing of you ship??
?NO! You?ll dent it!?
He stormed out. Jacen sniffed in disdain.

?It?s not like he would notice! The whole damn thing is a dent!?

Suddenly, an insane grin spread across her lips.

?What are you smiling about?!?
?He left his keys on the bench.?
?I didn?t know the Falcon had keys??
?Don?t argue with the author?s plot device!?

The two twins threw back there heads, caught in a bought of insane (and totally random) laughter.
