Why do people pay around $10.00 to get into theaters instead of waiting for movies to come out on VHS.

 

For the thrill of see it on a huge screen.
For the feel of the croud along with you.
For the reactions of the croud.
For that 1 guy who says things out loud at just the right time. "Dont go in there lady!"
For the overall ambience.

Did you see Stargate in the theater?
Just seeing the "traveling through the gate" scene on the big screen was worth every penny.

If we all owned TVs as big as a movie theater screen, would we be still going to the movie theater?

How can people consider themselves star wars fans and refuse the holiday special ?

How come everyone I know that has a copy has done everything in their power to prevent me from seeing it?

Whilst I enjoyed her renditions of "I got you babe" and "Miami is nice" on the Golden Girls, she just didn't cut the mustard on the Xmas special.

Why doesn't lucas just make a NEW prequel holiday special? That way everyone will just forget about old one.
I'm sure the Gungans have a version of Lfe Day. And lots of people would want to see the rest of Jar Jars family. Hayden can sing and dance. And there can be an animated segment with Jango Fett, I know the perfect part for him in Sleepy Hollow.
