Zak doesn't approve of the results of the election.

You know, if all the people who said they were moving to Canada really moved to Canada, it would be very lucrative to be in the moving business.

Yeah, I think it's actually really difficult to get citizenship there if you're not marrying a Canadian or having a child there, so I'm probably gonna have to just wish... :( ...and pout.

It'll be ok. My mom swears that if she survived the Reagan years, we can survive this. It just reinforces in my mind how little I have in common with a good 50% of America. I take heart in the other nearly 50% being a bunch of loudmouths.

Do you really want to move to Canada??? I mean, its full of... Canadians! But hey, more tax cuts for me...

I know you guys don't share my sentiments, but I don't mind the election results. I just find it funny that all of the Democrat supporters in our FF are from VA and Bush won that state. Me thinks you campaigners need a geography lesson. :D

Maybe you guys should consider moving to MD. I wouldn't have to drive so far to a meeting then. ;) Of course, in my current location I have a somewhat longer commute to FF meetings nowadays.

let's start a "4 more years of hell" club.

I want to hit more than half the voters with a cluestick! :p

you shouldn't choose a president based on abortion and gay marriage. there is a WAR going on. a WAR that Bush got us into based on a lie. we are little by little losing our civil rights because of the Patriot Act...the environment is going to hell! Our country is extremely divided right now. Isn't anyone else scared? I am.

as for everyone who voted for Kerry, thank you, it proves that not everyone loves Bush. Hopefully Bush will try to unite the country although I am not holding my breath. :(

Actually, Northern Virginia's a very Democratic area of the state. It's the rest of the hillbillys (hillbillys, in this case, refers to anyone living south of woodbridge) in this state that vote Republican. See, this is why I think NOVA needs to secede from the rest of the state. But since Fairfax County is among the richest (and smartest) counties in the country, I don't think they want to give up their cash cow for state highways and things of that nature. So, I just say we cut the middle man and have statewide civil war. Who's with me?

    Anyone....

    C'mon guys, it'll be fun!

    EDIT:
    Hey, I was post #666! [face_devil]

Aside from the fact that, as a government employee and officer of the court, I'm generally opposed to the violent overthrow of the government, the main problem with statewide civil war is that it's that the rest of the state is the part with most of the guns. Sure, we have the NRA but somehow I don't think it'll side with the liberals up in NoVa...

We spent a lot of time thinking about this sort of thing at a happy hour once when Maryland wasn't going to let Virginia build a water intake into the Potomac and it was looking like we'd have to win back the River from our neighbors to the North/East. Of course, the easier solution (I said) was for VA to just tell Maryland, fine, if you own the Potomac, you can just build the Woodrow Wilson Bridge all by yourself. But hey, the Supreme Court said we could take all the water we wanted, so it was nothing more than an academic (and drunken) excercise....

But I digress. From what, I'm not sure. But I'm sure I'm digressing....

Well, we'll ask nicely at first....

Actually, maybe civil war isn't the answer. Aparently, all we have to do is put the issue on the ballot and then say that NOVA wants gay marriage and abortions for everyone. The rest of the state will then think it was their idea and insist on secession. And by the time they realze what's happened, it'll be too late. We'll have our own state flag and everything.
