I just got accepted into the Rebel Legion. I didn't think my Leia costume was good enough. This is cool!

 

That's awesome, I don't think I'm old enough to join anything. I've been hanging around the Jedi Assembly forums but you have to be 18 or older to join.

I do wonder what kind of costume I'd want to make next though, nothing too complicated. Maybe an X-wing or A-wing pilot? I've always thought those look pretty damn cool .

But I highly recommend that you start considering a fighter pilot costume as Leia is a one deep position. [Edited due to comment having multiple interpretations] And that is when competitve costuming kicks in and that just gets plain ugly. Just some advice, feel free to ignore it

I'm sorry. I think what I said was totally misinterpreted. I was not saying anything bad at all and didn't mean for it to come out like I was implying anything. All I was really trying to say is that one deep characters like Leia, Luke, Vader, Han, etc. get competitive. My post was in no way meant to sound degrading to Liz and I apologize for whatever it was that I said that made it sound derogatory.

A word to the wise, X-Wings are not that easy to make. Maybe Joe can offer advise to you if your interested.


There is no such thing as a "easy" SW costume. Not if you want done right.


I'm talking from experience here folks.

 

I know it's not EASY, but I'm it's not EXACTLY like making a Jango Fett or Boba Fett costume, which is something I'd probably never have the time or funds to do. An X-wing costume is reasonably hard. That's what I meant by that .

 

True, Mandalorians are a major pain in the butt to make, but boy do the girls love seeing them!!


Well when your ready to sink the cash and make a SW costume, drop me a line and I can point you to someone who made the costume already.
