Okay, this thread is for anything. I found a copy of Ben Burtt's Galactic Phrase Book & Travel Guide and there is some cool stuff in here. It teaches how to say simple phrases in Bocce, Huttese, Ewok, Wookiees, Droidspeak, Jawaese, Tusken, Gungan, and Neimoidian. It's fun to read if you have some free time.

What's wrong with the thread this time Tony? Every time I post any thread you guys always have some negative comment. Guess what. I tried to post something like this in the JC and they told me to post it somewhere else and then they locked out the topic. I think this thread is fine where it is.

 

alright. Keep this thread, but promise not to make any more thread inless they have an actual purpous- and when I say that, I don't mean "what is your favorite color".

 

when you make to many threads it pushes some of the Important official thread back.Most people dont take the time to look past the first page of threads.before you start a new thread check back a page or two and read the threads to see if maybe your post would fit into an already exsisting thread.To many threads can clutter up the boards.

You'll find the same response in the JCC or any other part of the forums.Do yourself the favor and look for the thru the threads.Not trying to sound bossy or judgemental,just helping out a newbie

Now, Dave, don't be a hypocrite. This thread does have to do with Star Wars andthe Galactic Phrasebook is a lot of fun, and even if it is spamm-ish, you aren't helping matters by responding to the completely and totally pointless "I like cheese."

I love the Dark Crystal. Not only did Frank Oz help direct it, but it has the same producer as ANH.

 

hm i did not know that - but now i do know, and knowing is half the battle.

i like it mainly from an artistic standpoint, the costumes still blow me away to this day. and the creatures are so neat.

and for some weird reason the costumes in the really awful (yet somehow still good) flash gordon movie i like as well.

 

It must have taken Jim Henson years to make the Dark Crystal. It's so comlex and yet, they are all just puppets!

Since this is a random thread, I shall now randomly announce that I am going for a walk and shall be back in a few hours. tata
