LOL nah, we're good.
yay rhode island
For any Rhodies interested:
I have several copies of a local paper called the BostonTab featuring an article on the Star Wars Musical at MIT. If anyone's interested, please let me know and I'll get it to you somehow.
truly is it a sad
atomic comics on hope street has closed
i saw into the guy who ran it at the convention in november up in boston, and now it is no more. i went around with some flyers this weekend and left some at kelly's in warwick and million year picnic in providence...and when i went to atomic, there was this awful sign saying "for lease...going out of business."
Carrie, that sucks! I hadn't been in there before but it looked nice.
How is everyone doing with the snow? We got 11" up in my neck of the woods on Friday! (SE Mass.)
Carrie, if my guests can't make it because of the projected snow on Friday, I will let you know by Thursday about Daredevil. Hope I can make it! If not, we should do something "unofficially" some other time.
we got slammed on friday but yesterday seemed like a dud in comparison (yes i'm weird, i like snow)...
maybe atomic comics will open up somewhere else...hopefully....they kept moving around in the past...i'll keep my fingers crossed
well i hope you can make it saturday mary, but i know how it goes with guests/relatives/et al - and if not i agree, something "unofficial" would be spiffy
Yah well my hole in the wall comic book store is still open and going strong But it always stinks seeing a cool place close up shop.
haha yeah but that guy is creepy i tells ya!
Atomic was great, I used to wander up there as my daughter dances a few blocks away. I guess there just wasn't enough activity in the store to keep it going. Have to admit when I was in there I had the store to myself. The store in Rhode Island mall has some good offerings as well in the mean time.
ahhhh the toy vault *gives odd smile*
i am finding that million year picnic on thayer street is fantastic, everything a girl could want in a comic book store.

I felt like Luke when I got out of bed this morning.
Just post and stop giving me stupid errors that you didn't but really did!
I guess I'm still feeling like Luke.
that is too funny!
I absolutely wish I knew my way around Warwick, other than to work, to the store and to the beach.
be thankful you don't need to learn to navigate in west warwick....!
Maybe not yet!
So they don't believe in Straight Lines or something? Salt Lake is easy to find your way around, we have grids.
Well, I don't know. I mean, everytime I try going somewhere, I get lost in a little neighborhood and end up next to water.
lol that about sums up warwick
We built our road based on random cow paths. The make no sense if you are not from around here.
On another note. I learned a valuable lesson today. NEVER, EVER, answer your phone before 9 AM on your day off. (as I type this from work )
Well, eh, overtime?
I've got to go to work in 2 hours...
Heh. Fun times.
And Carrie, is there anything really fun to do in Warwick during the day? Or should I not get my hopes up?
I'm posting from work. Course my boss is away for the week. *dances*

Hi. I'm new here and I am glad to be posting. I've been looking for some fellow Star Wars fans...

I am looking forward to talking to you all!
