Wow!!, that is excellent stuff, I cant wait till these come out. It seems like the last issues of Republic will be its best.

 

That art is amazing. I might even like it better than Jan's.

Interesting. But the two Jedi died differently in the movie. They should change that.

No they didn't. Stass dies on her speeder and Plo dies in his starfighter.

 

Different localés, tho. Plo was in atmosphere.

 

and I believe it's night time when Stass is blown up.

 

Maybe they survived and had to die again.

 

Can anyone read any of the dialogue? WHat is that snowy planet?

What about Stass' speeder, there it's a BARC in the film it's a classic speeder bike. I thought it was a shame when the figure was with a BARC, but could understand why, This is just weird, beautifal art, but it look's more like Stass had been attacted and was trying to get away instead of being shot in the back. Still, only minor quarel's when the books look set to be amazing. New clone commander anyone?

Esp. as Weatley drew the Ep3 adaptation - what was his death like in that?

 

Plo isnt in the RotS adaptation, but Ki-Adis is wrong in the comic, and Yoda and Obi-Wan's Order 66 scenes are a bit different.

 

Didnt he die like that in the movie/novel?

 

He was in atmosphere.

 

I really think that where they died doesn't matter, but the fact that they are dead does. The artwork looks wonderful, especially the 79 artwork. And does anyone have any idea who the guy Vader is strangling is? Just some random officer or an important guy?

 

There were mountains visible in the film...right as Plo's Delta-7 is spiralling out of control, he skims past some cities/habitats on a mountainface, right before taking the Nestea Plunge onto the ground.

(Also, from what I recall of the Art of Episode III book, there were indeed some mountains present on the then-"Bridge World"; pre-Mygeeto at that point. Might recheck that one.)

Interestingly, his armor is very similar to the armor of the elite legionnaires from Episode III...

 

Toola? Fascinating. I seem to recall that in one of hte JAT books Luke finds Jedi artifacts left by a hider from the Purge on Toola. Could these Stormies be hunting this Jedi?
