You don't really need to ask permission for that, but knock yourself out.:)

Moving forward, as per the SW ratings thread in Saga, if anyone wishes to change their ratings, please provide a link to your original post or a quote so Jarren_Lee-Saber can adjust the numbers accordingly.

(Personally, if I was doing the tallies, I'd tell anyone wanting to change their ratings to get stuffed...;) )

I actually sorta did that the first time around (by suggesting they wait til a new thread is started after Ep VII comes out). I was overruled. :_|
It would be SO much easier if they didn't do it -_-

    1. Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade = 105 points
    2. Indiana Jones & the Raiders of the Lost Ark = 104 votes
    3. Indian Joones & the Temple of Doom = 69 votes
    4. Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull = 62 votes

    [face_coffee]

As more pages come I suspect the gaps between the last three to widen, while the first two stay neck in neck

    Crusade
    Raiders
    Skull
    Doom

Hard to choose between Crusade and Raiders but at the end of the day Sean Connery sealed my choice. Skull wasn't a great film, but my issue with it was more that it was unnecessary than terrible. Doom... ugh.

    1. Raiders of the Lost Ark (has to get extra points for initiating us into Indy's world)
    2. Last Crusade (just as good and arguably better than #1 if not for "extra points")
    3. Crystal Skull (I love aliens/alien's influencing earth, but the meshing of that into Indy's world was poorly done, thus should not have been done)
    4. [Young Indiana Jones TV]
    5. Temple of Doom (I can watch any crappy movie and not get bent out of shape because it is not good...but they really missed the mark with Temple...Jar-Jar Binks kinda feeling...and I apologize to any Jar-Jar fans....better to say Fonzie "jumping the shark" feeling?)

    I'm changing my mind

    Current order is

    ToD
    KotCK
    RotLA
    TLC

I tend to skip around the bottom two a lot.

Temple of Doom- My favourite. I love the opening bar fight, the parts in the mines and the bridge battle.
Last Crusade- Sean Connery is great as Indy's father and the tank fight and scenes in the temple were memorable.
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull- I remember going to see this at the cinema with my dad. I liked it though it wasn't as memorable as the others.
Raiders of the Lost Ark- I still think it's a great movie but I just don't like it as much as the others. I love the part where Indy shoots the swordsman.

If we get two more Indy films like is being rumored I wonder where they might rank for the fans? Would be interesting to see.

    1. Raiders
    2. Crusade
    3. Temple
    4. Skulls
God I really hate putting skulls in with that group. I loved the stories with the occult and the Nazis. The story for Temple just didn't do it for me, but, it's still a fun movie to watch. Skulls just felt like they (Lucas/Spielberg and whomever else) needed to out-do and go over the top in comparison to the other movies, so the story and how it flowed felt really contrived.

1 or 2. Raiders - depending on my mood

1 or 2. Temple of Doom - Doom actually does a much better job than Raiders of being a 30s/40s adventure serial. Short Round makes a great sidekick and Mola Ram is an outstanding baddie.

    3. Crystal Skull - solid return to form. A great 50s adventure film vibe mixed with a flying saucer film... great fun.

    4. Crusade - Unfortunately Steven Spielberg was busy making his long dreamed Bond movie this time around. Too many Bond-like visual gags and Indy feels less like an archeologist/two-fisted adventurer and more like a suave action hero.

I can't help but wonder if we get a fifth movie how it'll be ranked among the majority of fans. It can go either way, really.

    It's a difficult one. I'd probably go:

    The Last Crusade
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Temple of Doom
    Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
