You forgot a Y, but yes. It did have a bit too much of an X-Filesy vibe to it, didn't it?

 

It didn't feel too X-Files esque to me, mainly since to me X-Files is very 90s-feeling.

 

If Indy 5 ever gets made I wonder where it might rank? While I like Crystal Skull a lot it wouldn't take a lot to make 5 better than it, or even better than TLC for that matter.

 

I recall I've seen some rank the Fate Of Atlantis game in with the films and a lot of fans often refer to it as the true fourth film (not to start another KOTCS debate). I've always been curious to play it.

 

Probably worthy of it's own topic, but what's your favorite relic in all four of the films? While TOD is my favorite and I like the Sankara Stones, got to go with the Ark. That's just unbeatable to me.

 

Yeah, gotta be the Ark. I actually had to stop and think for a minute (illustrating that it really isn't about the artifacts for me), but I don't think anything can beat that Wrath Of God moment.

 

The opening of the Ark near the end of Raiders is movie history. Then again, so is the rest of the movie.

 

I really hope we get to have that discussion, especially with Harrison playing him for one more time. However I think if Harrison never plays him again that there will be a reboot at some point in the future.

 

It all depends on when production begins. Perhaps when Spielberg wraps his latest film he'll get to work on Indy 5. It'd be great if the last movie would be broken down into two parts like The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Indy deserves an epic finale.

 

There was an episode of Young Indy that Harrison guest-starred on as the adult version of the character and I've seen a few fans rank it in with the films. I don't know if I ever watched that one.

Strange that people would rank it in with the movies. I've only ever seen a couple of Young Indy episodes though, I wasn't too impressed.

 

Is Young Indy now legends?

 

It's been too long since I last watched any YI to fairly rate the series, but I definitely want to track it down.

 

I'm sure you can pick the box sets up on dvd at a reaonable price these days.

 

I thought I'd price up the DVD boxsets for Young Indy on Amazon, on reading reviews of them I found that Lucas cut scenes and edited others for the DVD release. One of the main gripes is that the 90 year old Indy scenes were cut from all the episodes.

 

I read about that, hate that Lucas can never resist making changes to everything.

Looks like we could have some new Indy movies to bring into this in a few more years.
