Okay should have posted that here.

I'll curb my dislike of tlj from this point on if that's ok?

Thanks for reminding everyone. Am I as well allowed to repeat for the 100th time that I already rewatched it twice and I still think it is awful?

Mine would probably look something like this:

    1. Star Wars
    2. Empire Strikes Back
    3. The Last Jedi
    4. Revenge of the Sith
    5. Return of the Jedi
    6. The Force Awakens
    7. Rogue One
    8. Attack of the Clones
    9. The Phantom Menace
    10. Solo: A Star Wars Story
    11. Clone Wars

Just want to repeat my ranking :)
    1) The Force Awakens.
    2) The Empire Strikes Back.
    3) Return Of The Jedi.
    4) The Last Jedi.
    5) Rogue One.

    6) A New Hope.
    7) Solo

    8) The Phantom Menace.
    9) Attack Of The Clones.
    10) Revenge Of The Sith.

That is great, we are both fans of SW and our lists are almost exact opposite :)

I ranked it seventh, ahead of RO and TFA.

    1) ANH
    2) ESB
    3) ROTJ

I often change my mind on how to rank the prequels, but the last year or so I've been feeling this:

    4)TPM
    5) ROTS
    6) AOTC

    7)TLJ
    8) RO
    9) TFA

I haven't seen Solo and have no plans to.

    TESB
    TFA
    Solo
    TLJ
    ROTJ
    R1
    TPM
    AOTC
    ROTS

I find it quite hard to rank the middle section of my list. I really enjoyed TLJ and I admire what it did with SW. However, it's not really a fun watch, unlike TFA and Solo.

I have seen it several times now. To be fair, it's a shame. The visuals, the music, Adams acting performance, and even the idea of the story itself is great. What a great stand alone this could have been. It simply does not fit to a nine part saga. I still cannot understand that LF let someone take apart most of the values and things people loved in the previous seven movies - in the 8(!) of 9 movies.

    I agree

I have always argued that RJ might have called himself a "Star Wars fan", but I don't believe that he really understood the universe and the characters in any great depth. I think his love for Star Wars was more as a casual fan rather than a hardcore one that completely understands the mythology and characters.

I so wish Lucasfilm would see the results of this poll, take away Rian's Trilogy and make Episode 9 for the fans. TLJ is the only Star Wars film that I hate. :( I want a remake. #notmyluke

It doesn't feel like a Star Wars film. For a long time I struggled with the PT not being quite the movies I anticipated, but I've always admitted that despite their many flaws they're filled with 'Star Warsy' moments that give me the feels.
I thought TFA was fine, I guess? Seeing Luke at the very end made me tear up and VIII couldn't come quick enough, but... yeah, seen TLJ thrice now and I'm just not feeling it, unfortunately.

The absolute worst Star Wars movie. It's the only one I went to see once in the theater. When I was gifted the movie, it took multiple sittings for me to get through one play through. I know fans adore this movie. I know people also root for the Cleavland Browns. I don't know where to start, and my grievances are to numerous to name, to I'll share what really bothered me the most.

I really liked The Force Awakens. I felt it laid the groundwork for a great trilogy, and it had us asking questions. Who is Snoke? Who are Rey's parents? What's been up with Luke?

Unfortunately these questions were answered very unceremoniously. Who cares why do you ask, Snoke's dead, they are nobody, and he's a jerk now.

I hated the horrible, Big Bang Theory style humor that falls flat every time and completely throws off the pacing of the movie.

Finn got his back sliced in half with a freaking lightsaber but apparently you'll be fine after a few hours in a bacta suit? Rian Johnson, genius!

Don't get me started on the most memorable, epic scene in all of Star Wars. Princess Leia's lifeless body floating on in space.... Until... Like the powerful Krypontonian she is... She harnesses the power of the sun. And is brought back to life! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's super Leia!

There was a subtly in the movie when Rey was getting frustrated with Luke, and Kylo was seemingly getting closer to the light. It would have been a nice twist to have Kylo emerge as the hero and see Rey fall to the darkness. It could have saved the movie. Alas just gonna go ahead and remove this, carry on in the Falcon once more.

With Luke though, in that first scene where Luke tosses his father's lightsaber over his shoulder, Rian Johnson proved he did not know who this character was. In The Force Awakens, you can tell JJ directed Mark to hold the lightsaber with reverence. He knew it was an important item to the core of the character. Rian threw it away and half the fans said "oooo see how he's deconstructing Luke?" Hamill knew what was up, and was warning people for months prior to the release.

What a joke of a movie.

@fettmaster39 - While it's perfectly fine to criticize the film, there's a difference between being critical and bashing. Criticism is allowed. Bashing is not. Your post is an example of the latter.
And "Mary Sue" is still a disallowed term around here.

Sorry, couldn't resist :D I don't mean anything serious with it. I even liked a few unpopular plot elements of TLJ: Rey's parents being nobodies, and Kylo thrashing his mask after Snoke ridiculed him; also Snoke's throne room was fingerlicking cool; not so happy with the rest though, and would love to see it flushed.
