    OK, I have watched TLJ a few times on BluRay so I can really evaluate it now among the other SW movies. I didn't like TLJ at first, but it has gotten better on each viewing:

    Best - Revenge of the Sith

    8. Force Awakens (Derivative and stupid in parts, but made with love, and had some decent new characters. Shame about the total lack of imagination.)


    9. The Last Jedi (Well made, some good ideas - but somehow a boring disaster than leaves me utterly uninterested in what happens next, squanders the potential of the new characters, and unforgivably casts a permanent pall over the beloved Original Trilogy. I wish I could forget it existed.)

    Haven't watched TLJ since my 3 viewing back in dec/january. And watched Solo only once (not because i didn't like it but other reasons). So it may change but so far here's my ranking of the 10 movies:


    The Empire Strikes Back
    A New Hope
    The Last Jedi
    --
    Return of the Jedi
    The Force Awakens
    Solo
    Rogue One
    --
    --
    --
    --.
    Revenge of the Sith
    The Phantom Menace
    Attack of the Clones

    ps: RotJ is 4th as a powerful ending to the OT, but as a movie it might have ranked a tiny bit lower. Revenge of the Sith has this tragic/fall of the republic that works in its favor but The Phantom Menace is not THAT bad if you forget the Gungans, stereotypical aliens and see it as a fun spin off SW matinee movie (and pretend this is not young Vader)

    I had it ranked 5th in terms of quality of film ranking last time, but here's my new personal preference one:

    1. TFA
    2. ROTJ
    3. ESB
    4. ANH
    5. ROTS
    6. Rogue One
    7. Solo
    8. TPM
    9-10 (Tie). AOTC and TLJ

    I genuinely think the craftsmanship of TLJ is superior to all three Prequels, and possibly the two anthology films, but my personal tastes find better highlights in them. So this is strictly my personal preference ranking.
