This doesn't make sense. It's currently Tuesday, the earliest it premiers is Thursday in the UK, and the Embargo doesn't lift for an hour or so.

Outsourced Well, I'm from Slovenia and the pre-premiere is tomorrow (Wednesday). Whatever that means, but the tickets are still available to the public. I have the tickets for the premiere on Thursday. In any case, I know that a lot of the press already saw it yesterday.

 

Fair enough. I could be completely off base here.

 

I attended a free press premier. I did not pay for it. And I'm glad I didn't.

 

If I may ask, what publication do you review for?

 

None or Disney would require I give it a glowing review. I'm merely on a list of social media "influencers" who don't get paid to write reviews but instead get to go for free to give honest opinions to the local distribution companies. My somewhat contrary to pop culture opinions is valued as showing that film attendees are not a hive mind.

Seriously, the fact that TFA and TLJ are together one after another, at the bottom, with the Holiday Special, should tell you everything you need to know. If you’re too polite to accuse him of being a Trollish liar, I’ll do it if you want? And please, look at his sig. There's a reason why I have him on Ignore.

No one said they pay. What they do is exclude you from future screenings.

Except I'm neither a troll or a liar. As Outsourced will find out when he watches the film, I HAVE seen it. Unlike DD (this site's most long term and prolific troll) and others who go to specific parts of the forum to troll fans, I stay out of the TFA and TLJ sections because there's no point in going there to antagonize, and I stay in the areas where we discuss the films that are actually good. There are loads of people who put the entire prequel trilogy UNDER the Holiday Special, which you'll notice I didn't do with TFA and TLJ, and you never call them trolls. Instead you like and agree with their comments. Try being less of a hypocrite, ok cupcake?

 

There are plenty of people who put X or Y Episodes with or below the Holiday special, but it doesn't mean that they're trolls. In fact, this tactic is often used to mock the prequels (I see it too many times to care when I go through the rankings for my statistical breakdown), so I really have no problem if it's sometimes used in a different manner - troll or not.

Look at his sig. I'm sorry, but its very black and white. Sometimes things are exactly what they appear to be. Seriously, TFA and (more than likely) TLJ are on par with the Holiday Special? How is that meant to be taken seriously? And yes, I would be saying the exact same thing if someone were to put any of the prequels with the Holiday Special, also.

SW fandom will never learn. It’s the early to mid 2000s all over again. Back then, it was a bunch of obsessive, self-righteous OT fans who liked to #### on everything the PT had to say. Now, it’s a subset of PT fans doing the exact same thing. Literally. What is this, some sort of weird revenge? We’re just going round in circles. It’s horrible.
