Top saddest would be Vader, Shmi, Han, and Jango just for his son's reaction. I guess the parents dying is what hits me because most deaths in the movies don't affect me that much. It's usually because I don't have much emotional connection to the character, best examples being the girl at the beginning of TLJ, Biggs in ANH, or most of the jedi in ROTS.

    1) Palpatine....The death of a real hero of the galaxy :(
    2) Fleet Admiral Peitt , a brave hero of the empire killed by terrorist scum.
    3) Captain Needa. Bit of a unfair death.
    4) Count Dooku. Bit unjust he was just used like he was and he was fighting a corrupt Republic.
    5) Boba Fett. He was just doing a job and Han was a legitimate criminal.
    6) Admiral ackbar. Although a terrorist, he did deserve better.
    7) Qui gon......Its liam neeson.....enogh said.
    8) Padme......she was pretty =((
    9) Tarkin.....a man with true vision.
    10) TK-421.....poor stormtrooprer killed by a criminal/deserter, a fugitive wookie, a religious extremist and a radicalized farmboy.

    This is actually quite true.

    1. Yoda (the music and feels)
    2. Order 66 sequence (that was powerful)
    3. Obi Wan
    4. Darth Vader/Anakin (the feels of the scene)
    5. Padme (the funeral scene was so beautiful)
    6. Paige Tico (could have been such a GREAT MAIN character)
    7. The Stormtrooper who was killed by Leia ("He said stun! He wasn't going to hurt you. He said stun!")
    8. Mace Windu (he wanted to end the corruption and take over the Senate, was about to kill Palpatine)
    9. The Emperor/Darth Sidious the Patient (he brought order to the galaxy, ended corruption, and judging from what the galaxy looks like afterward, his visionary leadership over one peacekeeping Galactic Empire is sorely missed now with a galaxy of anarchy, chaos and villainy.)
    10. Count Dooku ("The Republic cannot be fixed. It's time to start over.")

Bonus list, because 10 isn't enough!

    11. Qui Gon (a noble Jedi who lived in the Moment)
    12. Han Solo (I knew you'd come back, I just knew it)

    13. Aayla Secura (that was a powerful scene)
    14. The climactic close of Rogue One in the "Your Father would have been Proud" sequence (outside the main saga as an anthology film)
    15. Admiral Piett (rose in an Imperial meritocracy and fought bravely against Rebel scum)
    16. General Grievous (he would have been useful to help the Jedi after they were betrayed)

    In no order

    1. Padme- To see her die is haunting, only more poignant by her funeral scene. She is the Republic, and with her gone, the galaxy loses its freedom.

    2. Qui-Gon- Basically one of the main characters of TPM. More than just a mentor archetype, but Anakin's father figure.

    3. Anakin- After a life of manipulation, sorrow, violence, and war, Anakin is finally at peace with himself and death (something he feared and let consume him).

    4. Luke- The young hero, son of Anakin and Padme, lets himself fade to the Force.

    5. Bodhi- His death hits the hardest in Rogue One, due to how unexpected it was. Bodhi didn't except death like the others, he just died. It was quick and realistic. A casualty of war.

    6. Shmi- No one wants to see a parent die. Seeing the beginning of Anakin's downward spiral is just disturbing.

    1 shmi
2 padme (it makes me sad although I wish it had been about Anakin taking her life force to survive accidentally. Her giving up is really fd up for a mother. Very mixed feelings)
3 jango (thought I'd see him more here)
    4 Vader
5 younglings especially the one that almost got saved
    6 plo koon
    7 aayla secura
    8 mace windu
    9 ki adi mundi
    10 Verdactyl
I find Dooku's sad as well, not just for Anakin, but also for what could have been if obiwan had realized he was being honest.
Yoda's is peaceful and very fulfilling in a way.

I'd say the saddest for me would be Han.

The most heroic one IMO is Admiral Holdo.

The one that surprised me the most was Snoke. (Unfortunately).

The one that made me happiest was the Emperor.

The one that most wasted a great character IMO is Qui-Gon Jinn.

The most well-performed and moving death IMO is Yoda.
