Rare all but confirmed to have left Nintendo says IGN Cube.

Battletoads? Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time . . . a long time.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo doesn't hold the rights to Battletoads because I seem to remember there being at least one Battletoads game for the Genesis. Did Rare make those games? I had no idea. It might be nice to see a new one, but it would probably be another 3D game that requires you to collect a million things that only serve one purpose (like Donkey Kong 64).

Other stuff, namely Kameo, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Blast Corps, Banjo-Kazooie, Killer Instinct and Perfect Dark all coming to Xbox.

 

They should make a new Battletoads like a hybrid with Gauntlet. Keep the ability to hurt other players (I loved that part of the original 2 player) and make it four players. Add a little let difficult platforming and it could be cool.

Personally I think MS overspent a little. Rare was good, but not worth that much money. They're basically buying damaged goods.

It's not only left nintendo, it's been bought by Microsoft.

 

i Own a gamecube and im not afraid to admit that teh x box and the PS2 are great console. to all i think its alright to say" i like the ps2 better than the x box,"etc but i think its childish to say " the x box IS better than the PS2"

i only ever cared about perfect dark. but i wont be crying that we wont have it.

i owned the last conkers and it was fun, yes, but not award winning. perfect darks a master piece though (the first one) .

whats with the animated pics..... its taking too long for game footage.

 

Persoanlly I prefer FPS on a PC rather than console, so in my opinion MS has not acquired that much.

 

Good riddance. I've already counted a few bugs Rare missed while beta testing Star Fox Adventures.
