Rare Star Wars items

Hi, sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to post this. I was wondering about rare Star Wars books/comics. What are Star Wars books and comics that are especially rare/really hard to find? If you guys know of any please reply. Thanks a lot.

 

Well, right off the bat would be the first edition hardcover of the original ANH novel. It was only released to the trade. (Note - this is not the SFBC hardcover.). I've got a copy of the first edition paperback but the HC would be something to brag about. Unfortunately my first edition paperback is not in great shape - it was in a bookcase for years before I realized what I had. It's in a comic bag now but there's no way I could describe it as mint.

The Archie Goodwin newspaper strips were collected in hardcover form years back and I think that is considered the holy grail of Star Wars comics. Looking at ebay, there's a 3 volume set thats going for hundreds. Wow.

 

Bah when I was a kid I used to cut out and save those - then I lost them
