Damn. I dropped STARZ a few months back for bad programming. Should be interesting.

    Tonight an interesting series debuts:

    Monday 10-11PM

From EW: "Murder by the Book (Court TV, TV-14) In each episode, a crime writer explores a real-life case that's captivated him. This debut has L.A. Confidential author James Ellroy recounting the 1958 strangulation of his provocative, alcoholic mother. Those who've read My Dark Places will be prepared for the blustery narration: ''I hated her. I lusted for her. I got my wish of her dead.'' It wasn't until three decades after her murder that Ellroy began to feel any sense of empathy for the woman, and only once he began to search ? finally, fruitlessly ? for her killer."

Ellroy's book was also the source of "The Black Dahlia", though it, too, is a real life case.
