Anakin Skywalker - 5 (one of the main characters in the trilogy, extremely important for the story and also for the OT)

Bail Organa - 3 (important in the later part of episode III, helps set things up for ep IV)

Battle Droids - 2 (cannonfodder for the most part, could have been replaced with anything)

C-3PO - 3 (completely irrelevant in ep I, didn't really do anything in ep II, did just slightly more in ep III, gets a three for connection with OT)

Captain Panaka - 1 (not important at all, only in one episode and didn't really do anything special in that one)

Clonetroopers - 4 (Important in their own right as Sidious means of taking control, through first the war and then order 66, also a lead in to the OT)

Count Dooku - 4 (Leader of the separatists, big part of Anakins fall, gets plenty of lightsaber action)

Darth Maul - 3 (First Sith to face the Jedi in the saga. Kills Qui-Gon, leaving Obi-Wan to handle Anakins training. Important in ep I but dies at the end)

General Grievous - 3 (Mostly a distraction, an underling of count Dooku, does not seem to pose a real threat, get's a three for foreshadowing what is to become of Vader)

Jango Fett - 3 ("Father" to the clone troopers, reason for Obi-Wan to go to Kamino, father of Boba Fett, important in the OT. Not very important though)

Kit Fisto - 1 (completely unimportant, just another background Jedi)

Mace Windu - 4 (Very important in II and III, not so much in I. Seems to be the councils number two man, very important for Anakins fall)

Nute Gunray - 3 (sort of a spineless unwitting flunkie for all three films, used as a pawn by Sidious, and then destroyed when he is no longer useful. Never the real enemy)

Obi Wan Kenobi - 5 (one of the main characters, extremely important, ties into the OT very well. Has very major parts in II and III, somewhat lesser role in I, but still important)

Padme Amidala - 5 (one of the main characters, has major roles in all three films, mother of two of the main characters in OT)

Palpatine - 5 (The major villain of the trilogy, and of the next trilogy. Works mostly behind the scenes, staying hidden through I and II, revealing himself in full evil glory in III)

Qui-Gon Jinn - 4 (THE main character of ep I, only mentioned in II and III however, bringing importance down somewhat)

R2-D2 - 4 (Has a presence in all films, comic relief and useful gadgetdroid)

Watto - 2 (Minor character in ep I, very small part in ep II, completely unimportant in ep III)

Yoda - 5 (very important, wise old master figure)

Bail Organa - 4 (Somebody had to adopt Leia)
Battle Droids - 4 (They weren't working out, so Palpy decided to try clones)
C-3PO - 1 (Threepio was one of my faves in the OT, but he did absolutely nothing in the PT)
Captain Panaka - 1 (Weak character, but they needed somebody to command the Queen's troops)
Clonetroopers - 5 (Without them, it would've been harder to eliminate the Jedi)
Count Dooku - 4 (Instrumental in releasing Anakin's hatred)
Darth Maul - 3 (Obi & Qui-Gonn needed SOMEBODY to duel with.)
General Grievous - 4 (Crucial in continuing the war and separating Obi from Ani long enough)
Jango Fett - 4 (The host body for the clones)
Kit Fisto - 1 (Cool costume, if nothing else)
Mace Windu - 4 (I liked the character, he had potential. Too bad he turned out to be a prude)
Nute Gunray - 2 (The storyline needed him, but I was glad to see him die.)
Obi Wan Kenobi - 5 (Hey, he's the hero.)
Padme Amidala - 5 (Hey, she's the mother of Luke & Leia.)
Palpatine - 5 (Hey, he's the Sith Lord)
Qui-Gon Jinn - 4 (I liked him a lot. Good mentor for Obi)
R2-D2 - 5 (He saved the ship in TPM. Without him, Padme never gets to meet Ani and there's no twins.)
Watto - 2 (Important only because he "owned" Ani & Shmi.)
Yoda - 5 (Hey, he's Yoda.)
