It's # 1 on my list of Star Wars movies directed by someone who also did a RoboCop movie.

The version I watch is just Star Wars. There is no Episode IV or The New Hope. Just Star Wars. I recommend you watch it sometime. It's a great movie.

People who say "there is no Episode IV or A New Hope", or "there are no Star Wars Prequels", or "there are no Matrix sequels". I find it hilarious that just because people don't like something, they actually try to convince themselves it doesn't exist [face_rofl] [face_rofl] [face_rofl] [face_rofl] [face_rofl]

I think it's ok if it helps them enjoy the movie and no one gets hurt

What I meant was that the version I choose to watch really doesn't have the words Episode IV: A New Hope. It just says star Wars then the prologue starts.

BTW Reloaded is my fave Matrix of the three.

Well Episode 4 easily works on its own. No real cliff hangers other than what happened to Vader.

It shouldn't even be up for debate ANH is the only Star Wars movie that was well done, ESB tried too hard to mimic ANH, ROTJ was just pathetic, TPM almost destroyed the whole francise, ATOC's graphics were pitiful and ROTS had some of the worst acting I've ever seen. There's a reason every actor in the francise had their careers ruined (except Harrison Ford who was the only one with real talent, you could make the claim for James Earl Jones but he was just a voice). After ANH they were nothing more than poorly done sci-fi films with sub par acting. Not to mention the newer films were made way too quickly and early. The graphics were not there at the time and George Lucas got to impatient.
