It's # 1 on my list of Star Wars movies directed by someone who also did a RoboCop movie.
Since I am an Original Star Wars Fan only:
1. Star Wars 1977
That is my list.
...which may also be the first 6 positions on my top 10 all time list.
hard to count a vote that isn't complete.......must either ignore it or fill in the other 5 spots myself
1. ANH (first Star Wars movie I saw as a kid and was hooked from then on. The nostalgia reasons alone make this #1 for me.)
It's called Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope not just Star Wars
The version I watch is just Star Wars. There is no Episode IV or The New Hope. Just Star Wars. I recommend you watch it sometime. It's a great movie.
1. Return of the Jedi - First one I saw as a kid.
3. Star Wars
So much eye-rolling right now. People in denial are funny.
To which people do you refer?
People who say "there is no Episode IV or A New Hope", or "there are no Star Wars Prequels", or "there are no Matrix sequels". I find it hilarious that just because people don't like something, they actually try to convince themselves it doesn't exist
I think it's ok if it helps them enjoy the movie and no one gets hurt
What I meant was that the version I choose to watch really doesn't have the words Episode IV: A New Hope. It just says star Wars then the prologue starts.
BTW Reloaded is my fave Matrix of the three.
Well Episode 4 easily works on its own. No real cliff hangers other than what happened to Vader.
It shouldn't even be up for debate ANH is the only Star Wars movie that was well done, ESB tried too hard to mimic ANH, ROTJ was just pathetic, TPM almost destroyed the whole francise, ATOC's graphics were pitiful and ROTS had some of the worst acting I've ever seen. There's a reason every actor in the francise had their careers ruined (except Harrison Ford who was the only one with real talent, you could make the claim for James Earl Jones but he was just a voice). After ANH they were nothing more than poorly done sci-fi films with sub par acting. Not to mention the newer films were made way too quickly and early. The graphics were not there at the time and George Lucas got to impatient.
Enlighten me as to how this is a "Fail!"
1. Attack of the Clones
2.A New Hope
3.The Phantom Menace
4. The Empire Strikes Back
5. Revenge of the Sith
6.Return of the Jedi
Full of fails
Oh god the Falcon is failing again!!!
I was like "WHAT??", then I saw:
Member Since: Today
-- And that's all I needed to know!
Samuel L. Jackson
Ian McDiarmid (albeit on stage rather than film)
Just to name a few.
That was the first thing I noticed as well and I'm new myself. And definitely agreed....
