After rewatching all 7 films a week or two ago, I've finally come up with my definitive ranking of them:

1. ANH (10/10)
2. ESB (10/10)
3. TFA (8.5/10)
4. ROTJ (8.5/10)
5. TPM (7/10)
6. AOTC (5/10)
7. ROTS (5/10)

 

1.AOTC
2.TPM
3.ROTS
4.ROTJ(ROTS and ROTJ are on equal footing).
5.ESB
6.ANH
7.TFA(pretty relevant don't you think?).

I love all these movies, but the least have to go somewhere. ROTS isn't my top because I didn't like it too much that Lucas made it a bit too blockbustery...

 

Empire Strikes Back 10/10
So many new ideas in a sequel which really could have been far less creative annd still have been successful. They knew how to make movies in the 80's.

Star Wars 9/10
It changes the way movies were made and it felt so epic.

Return of the Jedi 8/10
The first half of the movie was perfect. It could have had something better than another Death Star, and the Ewoks were a terrible idea, but that is all salvaged by such a well done final space battle and by a perfect conclusion to Luke and Vader's story

Phantom Menace 6/10
There were some new ideas introduced and the movie still looks a lot better than its sequel. Lots of color and stuff. It would have been nice if they had left the final space mini-battle out because that was really dumb and we didn't need another scene with Anakin. Ppl complain about Jar Jar but Anakin talking makes me cringe.

Revenge of the Sith 6/10
Obi Wan carries the whole movie. Some pretty good effects in here too.

The Force Awakens 5/10
Had some good scenes here and there. JJ Abrams is bankrupt when it comes to ideas. I think Star Trek 09 being good was a fluke.

Attack of the Clones 3/10
Yoda takes out lightsaber - entire theater bursts out in laughter. Is that the intended effect? Also thanks for ruining Boba Fett.

Revenge of the Sith 6/10

Darth Basin: Thanks. I wanted to like TFA but the PCness was so heavyhanded it turned me off. Instead, it made me look at PT with more appreciation.

 

Same here! It only solidified my love for ROTS even more.
