The only ones I've seen are X3 and The Wolverine, so I don't really feel like I can vote.

And yes, I am ashamed. But to be fair both of those times I didn't choose the movie!

First Class is definitely my favorite. I like X2 as my second fav, then X-Men Origins: Wolverine, then Last Stand, then X-Men (2000). I have not seen the new Wolverine movie.

The Wolverine is horrible, the plot is waaay too predictable, the villain's characterization is too weak.

    X2
    First Class
    X-Men
    X3
    The Wolverine
    Origins: Wolverine

I've never been much of a fan of X-Men in any incarnation, but I flat-out loved First Class. I give a lot of credit to Singer's first X-Men for righting the "comic book movie" ship with a more serious, thoughtful approach after the disaster that was Batman & Robin (credit often given to Raimi's Spider-Man, though erroneously so IMO. Though I think Spider-Man is superior to X-Men, X-Men came first and created the modern template), but I've personally never had any love for it, its sequels or spin-offs. The fact that Singer is now back at the helm of the franchise worries me a little bit actually, and the trailer for Days Of Future Past definitely looks and feels more like Singer's X-Men than Vaughn's.

Why is Wolverine Origins ranked so low among the posters of this thread?

I thought it was one of the better movies out of the X-saga. I just was wondering if one of the reasons why it was not liked would be due to comic book related material vs. movie portrayal. I was a big fan of the Wolverine comic book until 2000 but have not read the series since then.

I haven't seen all the movie yet but here goes:

    1. X2 (Ian McKellan stole the show)
    2. X-Men: First Class (Fantastic movie from everyone)

    A significant drop off

    3. X-Men
    4. X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I'm watching them in chronological order so next is X3, and then The Wolverine.

Origins was a really stupid action flick, enjoyable sometimes, until the final 20 minutes or so when that bloated CGI monstrosity that claimed to be Dr. X appeared. Then it became ****ing terrifying.

The Last Stand is the weakest, imo. I just find "Origins - Wolverine" to be the most enjoyable of all the 6 films. The beginning of the film where you see the sequence of battles of all the major wars they fought is just awesome.

I can't pick one above the others, but here's my ranking of them all, from most favored to least...

    The Wolverine
    X2
    X-Men: First Class
    X-Men
    X-Men Origins: Wolverine
X-Men: The Last Stand (Iceman rocks, though)
