Richmond,VA Ravencon in April 21-23, 2006

First year for a new literary convention (which will have some gaming and films shown, plus masquerade) next year at the Holiday Inn Kroger in Richmond. Right now they bought the rights to domain names, when website is up I will try and remember to post here. Looks like I'll be behind the masquerade and my husband maybe con security? The second meeting was here in Richmond, at the con-chair's apartment in the West End and got some things done. Also for the Star Wars rpg gamers here, if still do it, the gaming person in charge wants to hear from you. Her e-mail is

Right now the con will be small to see if get the 500-600 membership, and next year we'll add the art show, etc... Have the masquerade (for the costumers--I need to get the rules to Tee for website), gaming for the gamers, Terry Brroks GOH and other authors, panels (like couple I'll be doing since published in this areas-Is it Erotica or is it Porn (for erotic fantasy and horror I've gotten published) and Horror from a Woman's Perspective--Are Women Horror Authors More scarier? ), Tom Kidd Artisit GOH, and films and anime. there'll be costuming panels too--I've suggested two so far and there's opening for 2 more--leaving it for costuming guests and aothers to suggest.

Gaming Stuff???

Do you know anything about what they plan on doing? I could try to see if anyone from the RPG group would be interested, but would need to know what the plans were.

She heard about the old Star Wars RPG and wanted whoever did those to contact her--maybe get some games for it set up for the con in the gaming room. So have them contact her--tell them to say Pam the masquerade director gave them her e-mail to contact her. Thanks.
