Just wondering if those of you that have the Harry Potter costumes are still bringing them...(via the discussion at Disneyland)

I found a place that is supposed to have the Slytherin tie...So I will be bringing my whole costume with me... (Nimbus 2000 included)

Let me know if you still need anything...they may have ties for the other houses as well... I will check... pm me with what you need...

 

i'm going to start a driving thread for comic-con, seeing as how we have different departure dates it makes sense to get a schedule started. if we can't have one massive push, we can at least have several squad waves moving in on the target. i'\/3 90t 3nuff info h3r3 2 /\/\a|<3 4 900d st4rt.

well, so much for looking for that 7 in vash action figure for sideshow, what with him not having a head anymore...

 

it's amazing how fast someone can heal from a seemingly fatal wound given the proper motivation...

 

i suppose someone should do a progress report or something, just to keep this fresh:

-hotel room secured at the wyndham by kreleia, darth husband & the royal prince.

-hotel room secured at the holiday inn at the bar for kirana, jupitertronic, idiots_array & MJEH, bunny & sideshow.

-accomodations secured at sistine's place for void, mick, carenix, wenchy, darth feldman, and blackfeather.

arrivals tentatively scheduled as follows:

wednesday-kirana & jupitertronic

thursday-idiots_array & MJEH, bunny, blackfeather, possibly choad

friday-sideshow, void

saturday-possibly mick

end report.

I'm gonna be most upset if I'm driving out seperately from Void...

 

say mick, have you thought about just flying out to san diego? it'd save time, spare you driving by yourself, and is probably dirt cheap on southwest flying one-way. i could look up the fares & schedules if you want.

 

I'm not sure how much time it'd save, with getting to and from teh airport early enough, not too mention the complication of finding someone to drop me off and pick me up

 

at most you'd just need someone to drop you off at the airport. one of us could pick you up from there, and then drive with us sunday. btw, what time do you get out of work? that might be the contributing factor, and at that only if you can't go straight from work to the airport.

it might not be the ideal solution. and this should be taken with some skepticism; remember, i _am_ a raving lunatic.

 

If it comes down to it, Mick and I will leave friday night, no seperately

say feldman, when are you expecting to head out? if you wanted to get there on friday perhaps you & sideshow can make arrangements.

 

yea we could swing that...i still am planning thurs night...but i'm staying at the hotel not sistine's place...

 

true, and feldman can't just borrow your car or anything... we can probably just pick him up from the hotel. we'll all probably retire there anyway for a lot of the night, then head to casa de sistine's cats. er, i mean sistine.
