Can you get the laser eye surgery and still be considered "uncorrected"?
I don't know. I would need that information myself, as I am planning to go into NASA, and would need the surgery as well. Currently, I have 25/35 vision, not that bad, but if I plan to go up in a shuttle as a mission specialist.. I don't see why they wouldn't allow that nowdays. Some astronaut pilots have had the procedure.. I don't see why the military wouldn't allow it. :\
Um last I heard it is not counted by the Air Force and I'm pretty sure the navy is the same and deffinatly for the Marines not even an option that last one for me.
I asked my bio teacher why he told me with it zapped your eyeballs will explode under high g manuvers. Since space has no gravity I think nasa would allow it then again getting up probaly pulls some good g's too.
Silly me ~ I thought this thread was about the meeting
Oh! Sorry, Mrs._1966..
Anyways, it was great to see everyone at the meeting. Does anyone have any ideas on perhaps what we could improve on, or ideas for other events?
I personally think it'd be cool to do some charity work or sommat. ^_^
Guys this thread was supposed to turn unsticky yesterday. Since it doesn't seem to be working right if you want to back this thread up please do so by sunday, I will be deleting it then.
