FF:VIC RE: Star Walking Inc's Annual Midnight to Dawn Dark Zone Thread

For those that haven't been before...the "Maze" is four levels high and has spots where you can shoot through the floors and the roof at the people above and below you. There are three bases (which need to be protected) and a "Drop ship" starting point with a nice bouncey floor.

All up.....MEGA fun.

Four floors, eh? Why back in my day, we had two floors, the top floor wasn't even a floor really, it was a few ramps and a platform...come to think of it, the lower floor wasn't much of a floor either, it was more of a ground, not exactly smooth and silent to run across...

I remember, back in year 6, my brother and two friends were the only people on the red team. We took the bridge up the top, camped the entire game, and came out positions 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Apparently TJ isn't coming now. I've sent in my booking and should be defintely coming though..

Hawk: IIRC the price last year was decided on the night. It depends how many people turn up.

 

Aim for around $25 - $30 per head.
(Don't quote me on that, just take it as a rough estimate....it could be less.)

I know that sounds like a bit, but you do get Pizza, drinks, Arcade Games, and seven hours worth of mayhem.

 

Considering the price per game, especially for non-members of DZ, I think that's more than reasonable. It will be a fun night indeed.

Well the time and the date are both problems...

Unfortunatly I'm on tour that day in Canberra, which is a marvelious step up from Horeshem last year... :: Shudder ::

and I don't think I'd have gone if my parents had seen the time anyway.

I'm afraid that I'm unsure if Eighth Cortex can make it. Spoke to him recently, he reckons he'll be too busy.
