    Is there a reason the original, that was started a few weeks ago, was deleted and a new one was created? I was under the impression that threads/stickies were usually just edited if any minor or even major changes needed to be made.

    LAJ edit - locking as question has been answered.

    It will (most likely) be due to Grant stepping down. It's best to have serving mods as sticky thread authors.

    ^^ This would be the reason.

    I replaced the thread index for much the same reason, except, you know, the HTML had gone to that special hell reserved for nerds. The bad place, with the firey pants.


    Edit: Also, the reason we haven't done the same for Roo's Rules is that we don't want to give the mistaken impression that anything THERE has changed at all. Those we're happy to keep, with the name of Roo as surety in all its pretty redness.

    Oh, ok. I could understand the thread index being changed, as it's fairly old. I was just wondering about the New User's thread since it had been implicated so recently.

    No biggie, I have the answer, feel free to lock. :)
