All I can say is...What were they thinking? They must have been on drugs! I know a lot of you have already seen it, but that was my first, I thought it would be a good idea to tell Bria what we thought. I left before it was over, I just couldn't stand it. I bet IA and Qui-Gon got some good pictures of our faces while we watched it, those should be fun.

I'm glad I left before I could watch it all. ;)

They must've been smoking some serious crack when they did that. Maybe it was when Carrie Fisher was starting on her drugs and SNL/John Belushi drinking binges? Did she write this thing? ?[face_plain] LOL

Either way, it was pretty bad. [face_devil]

I told VoidDancer so. [face_mischief] It's bad and then I had a bad copy of it to boot. We played some (though not all) at our FF party yesterday and many hadn't seen it. We turned it off not long after the Fett cartoon. That was about all they could stand. I mean wookiees talking back and forth for minutes... the wookiee porn, etc. :p

Oh, and remember... stir and whip, stir and whip, whip and stir... :p

Wow...I'm still reliving the shudders and shrieks of pain. I didn't do much more than glance over at it a few times and cringe, but when Leia sang, that was it for me. No more rubber-necking the train-wreck that was the SWHS. I hope I never see that again! [face_shocked]

WHAT that was top qulaity entertainment.
I wish more movies made today were half as good as that. I felt privaleged to be in the same room while it was on. I think I actually fainted in the end, but I did recover.

That was the most supremely awful thing I have ever seen in my life. [face_plain]
I don't remember watching it when I was a kid, but some of it looked vaguely familiar, so I must have seen it. I must have blocked it from my mind in self defense. :)

Diesel Dave- Sorry we left before you got there. we just couldn't take the heat anymore. We did think of you later, if that makes you feel any better. :)

That film/video definitely needed an editor. I think there may have been thirty seconds of decent footage and that was stolen from cutting room floor snips of the movie. It was a bunch of junk and the REAL Star Wars characters only had brief cameos. When I was a kid and saw it I thought it was cool. WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! The musical numbers were just awful and LONG! The cartoon (Heavy Metal style) was all right, but the rest, yuck! I could go on but whats the point. Oh, and I agree an hour of Wookie talk with no subtitles is nuts. You can't even call it bad writing because there was nothing to write. When they had no where to go they threw in a musical number which led to another dead in. Oh, wait I said I was going to stop. Later

Oh, and somebody should have told Art Carney to button his shirt.

All SW fans must see this. For two reasons.

    1) It is SW related. And it to not see just how far to the Dark Side Lucas can go would be a crime.

    2) To see that there are worse things than Jar Jar Binks.

I totally understand why Lucas wants each and every copy of this thing destroyed. It'll never happen, but I know why he wants it. ;)

    It's an anti-classic. :p

You all really should've come and watched it with our group. You'd not only get to see that, but also AOTC and meet Obi-Wan Kenobi. Seriously. :D
