Whip whip stir... whip whip stir...

    **vomit**

    two words: Wookiee Porn

    **vomits again**

There was a reason I didn't watch more than 5 seconds of this at any given time on Saturday... and now you all know what that reason is.

I Mexchewie/Nick, wish to retract me previous statement. I was not thinking clearly and based on the current stress of my job, that explains a large part of it. I want to state that SWHS, was the single greatest thing I have seen in my life. It ranks up there with the great TV moments in history, MASH and Sienfeld Series Finales, I love Lucy, Who shot JR and Agent whats his face from Twin Peaks...oh and who shot Mr. Burns.
I vow, from this day forward, not to watch those previous classics such as "A Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and It's a Bundyful Christmas" and now watch Star Wars Holiday Special exclusively! Come this holiday season, I shall be celebrating Life Day and any of you are welcomed to attend.

Actually, the official reason for SWHS's existence is that Fox owned the rights to it at the time and they wanted it. GL had almost no involvment in it at the time. They licensed a whole bunch of garbage for the movie too, like "What Do You Give a Wookie for Christmas When He Already Has a Comb," or "We Wish You a Merry Christman, R2-D2." I have the sheet music for these if you're interested. Another example would be the Daley comics, which if you've ever seen the originals, were very, very bad. When George was able to buy the rights back after ESB all of that stuff disappeared.

Oh, and OW, she was so stoned during the taping of the SWHS that she didn't even know why she was getting that check from Fox later. The best way to know that, just look at the amazing lack of any color to her eyes. And the fact that her eyes had more gloss than that industrial strength, 70's issue lip gloss she was wearing.

I must admit, I didn't watch much at the meeting. Mainly because I had seen it before and my own personal copy is holding up the broken leg corner of my sofa. This in itself shows my ultimate discuss for this peice of Star Wars spin off! Cool Cartoon though! Boba Fett rocks!

    LP

PS. I think someone should bring the Ewok Adventure and Battle for Endor next meeting. The Ewok adventure is Narrated by the late Burl Ives. Good stuff.

ooh, Ewok movies... I remember a friend and I tried to find copies to rent one day for an all-out SW movie day (and no, there wasn't any alcohol involved). Those were impossible to find though.

The video store I used to work in had BOTH of the Ewok movies. Why, oh why, didn't I take them when I quit?

Oh yeah, that would have been stealing. [face_blush]

LP-Yes!!! We must watch the Ewok Adventure!! I loved it when I was a kid. Let's see if it stood the test of time. :)

Mick- "High-proof holiday cheer" will either make the SWHS cool (or at least watchable), or even scarier (if that's even possible). Worth a try, though. :D

I don't care what you say, I liked the special. Especially since there were girls around me watching it. And it didn't cost me anything to sit and watch.

[face_devil] On a side note, Do you think it's more sexy with body hair or not? Personally I like the shaved chihuahua look.

James Bond Jr. all the way, he is so PIE!!!

Have you gotten B*%#@ Paste today?

Kirana, thanks, now I have this mental image of drunk SW fans running out of Atomic screaming incoherantly about the evil Wookiee xenophilia fetish porn...

Kreleia, thanks for that link. I may have to purchase those...tee hee! I've always loved the Ewok Adventure but was never to big a fan of Battle for Endor. To much sad stuff. But on the other hand, it's full of witches and goblin-like characters that good mythology is made on. I just like the happier ending of the first one.

Yeah, battle for endor kinda sucks.. but ewok adventure isnt too bad..lol

i still believe that Jar jar was created for only one reason.. to take the heat off the Ewoks.

I always liked the Ewoks! They're cute. [face_blush]

(Of course, I was 9 when ROTJ came out, and therefore had a weakness for cute furry creatures.)

However, I don't think I would have like Jar Jar if I was that young when TPM came out. He is NOT cute and furry, just stupid and annoying. (End of Jar Jar bashing. From me. For today.)

    Edit: I can't type today. :D

What's with the Pro-Ewok crap and the Jar Jar bashing?

    Here's my thoughts on these....

Jar Jar rules, I love Jar Jar, GL should have Jar Jar become a Bombad Warrior in Episode III and kick some butt!!! That would show all of you Jar Jar haters how cool he really is/has always been!!

Now the Ewoks. The Ewoks suck. ROTJ needs to be remade so that it's realistic. Instead of Ewoks beating armored troopers with rocks (which wouldn't happen in reality), they should have all of the troopers blasting those damn dirty teddy bears straight to hell!!! [face_devil]

The language contained in this post is PG. :p

That stuff doesn't matter. After Episode III Jar Jar will have been in 3 actual Star Wars movies! Where as the Ewoks have only been in 1! As for the cartoon, he has his own video game where he is a cartoon!!! Plus he's been in many more games, I've never played a game with Ewoks in it! (not saying there isn't one out there, just not one to my knowledge) :p

    LONG LIVE JAR JAR!!!

DEATH TO THE TEDDY BEARS!!!!!! [face_devil]
