"My concern for this nation grows greater," defeated Senate candidate Richard Mourdock says, tearfully. NPR's Sonari Glinton reports that the GOP candidate says he was "attacked for standing for my principles."

You can't have all the credit. I would also like everyone to know that I gave my vote to a sure loser.

Romney HQ looks like Kerry HQ in 2004. Will the concession have to wait until morning like then or will it wrap up tonight?

Winning NC by such a small margin is a bad sign for Romney. That was his best swing state by light years going into today.

Yeah, I'm not surprised at that. We've only gone blue twice since 1976.

I just did the math and if Obama wins all the states currently leaning towards him (per Politico), plus California, he's got it.

Can't believe Todd Akin attacked Obama on Benghazi in his "concession"... but better than Paladino with a basball bat in NY back in '10!

Romney wins his first swing state: North Carolina (which everyone expected, it's kinda a surprise that it was so close)

Courtesy hours for California are over, I see. :p

I'm enjoying these results. They're fun.

Yup, that was a state Romney should have won by 3-4 points.

Yes, and close is more enjoyable. It's like any good sporting event, and matters about as much.

Looks like the only drama left is whether Romney wins the popular vote. I sure hope not. The incessant whining and sudden emergence of armchair Constitutional scholars will be insufferable.

Not as close as most of the media were saying. So far Obama has only lost 2 of his 2008 states... and Democrats are doing GREAT in the Senate.
