So let go back to Rogue_Ten and his post for a second. Let me get this straight: Jan Brewer goes on a secret trip to Afghanistan, whereas Mitt Romney made how many trips to Afghanistan during the Presidential campain?

To be fair re: not telling reporters, that's probably for security reasons. None of the pool reporters that travel with the President are even told they and the President are on their way to Afghanistan or Iraq when they were still in there until Air Force One is well in the air and on it's way. It's set up that way so that terrorists don't realize when the President/whatever US govt. envoy (in this case apparently Gov. Brewer) and where the President/whatever US govt. envoy are.

But yeah, the punching reporter deal - Stay classy Gov. Brewer.

Lol. Say, do you all like what the Bush admin did the the United States? According the the Heritage Foundation everything Bush did was right out of their playbook.

 

Rather than a reactions thread perhaps it should be retitled a sa politics thread or else a new general politics thread started?

 

I never thought the word "adorable" could apply to a photo of a politician (any politician), but it definitely does apply here!
