Read this its kinda funny

Hi i go to Boarding school in PA. I got my school workjob and they put me in the digital arts annex so i could update the schools website, and put the footage that i shot of the school up on the website.

Its yesterday, and i grab my dcr trv 8 dv camera to go out, the dean, whos the graphics arts guy, stops me.
"woah woah, where ya going with that?"
"i was going to film the Hockey game"
"unfortunatley, youll have to use the schools video camera, its a year old, i know its a piece of crap , im sorry, but just film with this"

~~~Mr. Dean Allain, pulls out of the cabinet, a gorgeous, beautiful Xl1, and o by name beard of Zeus is it amazing."

*i gasp*
"Dean-what?"

*proceed with the "talk" he deserves"

But i asked him if i could film with it today and he agreed!!! so im going out in 2 hours and i reallllly need to find a beginners guide to an xl1, if there is asuch a thing, because i want to make sure i have all the stuff at the right settings and everything.


If i film on my dv tape with the xl1, then i put it in my sony to import it on MY computer, will the quality be the same as the xl1?
