Hey guys - I'm new to this site and wanted to share with you a photoshop pic I made of Ashoka using Emily Browning as a base [image=http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq26/seandabbsfx/ashokasean2.jpg] I'm actually a sculptor by trade and was thinking of making a 1/6 scale figure of Ashoka for my daughter using this pic as a rough reference - what do you think? www.seandabbs.com
The photomanip looks beautiful, and I would LOVE to see your work on a 1/6th scale Ahsoka! I've thought about attempting such a project myself, using an Obitsu body as a base (or even just a plain ol' barbie), but I don't have the skills for it yet, sadly.

Wow! That is INCREDIBLE! LOL. I know everyone else is saying it too, but i'm dying to see your 1/6th scale of this... Quick Question, if you don't mind my asking... Did you use Photoshop or GIMP? I've been trying to get up the courage to try photo manipulation like this, and am wondering if you have a recomendation on which program is best? Amazing Photo! May the force be with you... always! hey guys Thanks again for all your kind comments! I used photoshop to create the manip using a combo of Emily Browning and Shaak Tii! OK, so this project is moving very slow, but this is where I am at the moment - digital sculpt: [image=http://i430.photobucket.com/albums/qq26/seandabbsfx/ahsoka.jpg] And fresh from the printer: [image=http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b263/aaaaaaaaaa123/warriors%20gate%20productions/STAR%20WARS/pottyonecollage.jpg] she's currently been sent off to be painted, by a guy who paints all the starwars stuff for sideshow collectibles - he's an awesome painter so I can't wait 'till I see some pics! In the mean time I have to get her costume sorted, make her bits and pieces like light saber etc!
That is shaping up rather nicely! What processes are you using? How do you get from the 3D model to the physical sculpt? Thank you for sharing your updates.
