Rebel Alliance ranks

    Hi everyone! Newbie here.

    Does anyone have a list of the proper order of ranks within the Rebel Alliance for both starfighter command (I really need those) and infantry around the time of Hoth? For example, Flight Officer, Lieutenant, etc. up to General. My characters need promotions but I don't know what to promote them to!

    I have a list from the 2nd edition SW RPG Rebel Alliance Sourcebook, but it isn't complete and it doesn't really follow what I've seen in some of the expanded universe novels.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Brittish and US military ranks (note: you might have to set your text to a larger font to read it)

    It follows the US stuff pretty closely. here's what I've pieced together from the X-wing novels:

    Admiral
    General
    Colonel
    Major
    Commander (note for this and captain: it seems to be different with the big ships. with the little ships, Commander is over captain. I'm not positive with the bigger ships, though)
    Captain (see above)
    Leuitenant
    Flight Officer (equals ensign on a big ship)
