    The Best in Fans: Bantha Tracks, In Print & Online

    July saw the start of Bantha Tracks online, the Internet version of the popular Star Wars Insider department for Hyperspace members. What was once published quarterly in the magazine now began to appear in every issue, and every two weeks saw a new installment of the online edition.

    Each issue features fan activities, official and unofficial get-togethers, examples of fan creativity and more. Also spotlighted are the community-building and charitable efforts of many fans and fan groups. These true Star Wars heroes devote their time and energies, channeling their love of Star Wars to very important causes. This year's mentions include:

    The "Rebel Strike Team" -- members of the Jedi Knights of Cleveland and the Ohio 501st Garrison -- bowling to raise money for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Cleveland.

    That's awesome...it was cool to make the Bantha Tracks online newsletter once, but being mentioned as one of the highlights of 2004 is frellin' cool!

    Just wait till 2005...where we'll bring 2 teams!
