Saga Rebellion On Order 66

This is a story about some troops who disobeyed order 66 (no, not Ion team from the 22nd, this is non-canon) and survived (Unlike Ion Team)

Throughtout the galaxy, order 66 was being initated and the fall of the jedi is close, but a small detatchment of 501st troopers did not follow the orders, for their own reasons soley. Commander Appo was the leader of the 501st at the time, and had 11 other men with him when they defected, these were the men...

[u]Order 66[/u]

Appo and Bow ran for shelter, their Jedi commander running ahead to deipatch the droids blocking their way with blaster fire. Appo was just about to go help him when holgraphic Chancellor Palpatine arrived on his comm disk "Activate Order 66" then he dissapeared.
Appo looked at Bow uncertainly, signalling to their closest men, he told them what had happened, other captains and sergants would have got the message and would be firing at their Jedi now, but these men were 501st elites. Appo and Bow turned on their personal shields that had been saved for just this occasion, the other troops under their command did the same.
Appo ran to a higher level, followed by his men, watching the Jedi and the troops near him stopping and reading the message over the comm from their captains, then rasing their guns. One raised their guns faster than the others and shot, not at the Jedi. Blaster fire peppered a clones helmet and he fell still. The other clones looked at him in confusion, Appo took this chance and jumped down off the high ground, ambushing the clones there, the clones were confused and began firing at the Jedi. Appo stopped them, encircling the Jedi, the defected 501st troopers mowed down their fellow troops in a single clip of blaster fire. The Jedi stood amazed, then ignited his lightsaber. He was about to attack them when Appo showed him the holocron, and explained what order 66 was "Sir, its codenamed Order 66 but its mission name is Operation Nightfall" the Jedi was shocked, but ran back to his ship to warn other Jedi while the 501st remnants were defeating the least few droids.

Appo and his men reloaded and mentally preapred themselves for the task ahead: they were to gain secret entrance to the Jedi temple, warn as many Jedi as they could of Order 66, and fire down their own ex-comrades, their brothers in arms.
Bow could tell Appo was disturbed by the look on his face after they had taken their helmets off "Hey, Appo? Whats wrong" Bow asked
"We're about to fire down our own men, save millions of Jedi, then be on the run for the rest of our lives" responded Appo
"Oh yeah...diddnt think of it like that". Bow had never been one to think quickly, he was more, act first, think on it later. Thats why he was only Co-Commander of the 501st. then the ship landed, Cloud came out of the cockpit, donning his helm and painting black stripes over his normal blue stripes. The rest did the same. Appo doing a lined one to show commander status, they donned Caplets and Command Sashes to make themselves stand out even more, reloaded. Then disembarked the ship and ran towards the Jedi council chambers...
