From what I've read it's just Drew Carey and the Improv All Stars coming to U of R's Meliora Weekend. So I'm guessing that none of the good guys from "Whose Line is it Anyways?" will be there. :(
Not that I'd have time to go anyways, but I still looked it up because I was curious...

Since my University provides discounted student prices for many big events I figured I should take advantage of it. Tonight I'm going to the Apollo Theater's red carpet showing of "Gridiron Gang", and The Rock will be there in person! I'll try and get some pictures to send you.

    Wish you guys were here,
    Ron

Adaptation as well on Sept. 30th I want to see that Raiders Adaptation Fan Film. I saw a little of it years ago. I missed Raiders the other night.

Convenient explanation - it would have been more believable if you had given it as your explanation when the Dalai Lama arrived in Buffalo, not after he had spent 3 days there and already left. People may have wished to go. It could have been a nice constructive way to open dialog about any issues you or anyone else were having. So, did you go and learn anything?

Yesterday I got to meet the cast of My Name is Earl, and they signed my season 1 dvd. Unfortunately only NBC merchandise was allowed to be signed so security kicked me out when I was handing Jason Lee my Mallrats dvd. Bummer. But at least I got his signature on the other movie, and later that day I went to Conan. Wish you guys could be down here.;)

I was so very pleasantly surprised while watching last night's Simposons... It featured a duel between Bart and Skinner with Duel of the Fates scored behind it...

Hey all after the meeting we stopped at Borders. They were having thier educators sale 25% off Books & stuff 20% off of cd's & 10 off electronics all off regular prices

They also had 30% off DK books (which include all the visual dictionaries & cross section reference books

Like Diane said the Darth maul single FX sabres are on sale for $79.99 ( no other discount)

Actually, it's better than that... After reading Tom's post, I make a trek to Borders last night. I was hoping to get the DK Books "Complete Visual Guide to Star Wars", but became entranced with the shiny-boxed Maul sabers, tagged with $79.99 stickers. Just for kicks, I asked an associate to scan the saber, to see if my Borders Discount Card gave any other discount on the thing... and it rang in at $69.99!! That was it... the glowstick was mine. Now, if I can only get together another 70 bux to have the full-Maul...

Oh, and the books ARE 30% off, but only for those with Borders discount cards which you can of course sign up for while there.

You've gotta hear this saber... it's pitched lower than any of the others and sounds extremely menacing... it's too cool!!!

Oh, and I almost forgot... check out this link on SirStevesguide.com to check out the forth-coming Yoda FX saber... which will be to scale!!!

...And the return of the Riddell mini-helmets!
