From what I've read on the episode description about this episode and the next this will be the first 2 part arc and I think the main story will really start taking off.

I believe this was written by Henry Gilroy, so my expectations are naturally high.

Monday 9:30PM EST. So far, all the new episodes show up at that time, right after the previous episode has aired on the actual cable channel.

 

This has the potential to be as a good as Rise of the Old Masters.

 

Among a bunch of the better Season 1 TCW episodes, he wrote Rise of the Old Masters.

 

I like him already.

 

I'm 90% positive half the dialogue and about a 3rd of these clips from eps we haven't seen yet are from Empire Day.

Mainly the whole "The secrets in his head could help bring down the empire and a 5 year plan for the Outer Rim"

 

I think it's more or less about the finale.

So do Imperials get Empire Day off or something? (Like Labor Day for those in the US) It would be a good time for the Rebels to rebel:

Looking forward to this one! From the footage we've seen so far, it appears the Imperials have a parade to celebrate Empire Day, with Lothal citizens along the sides of the streets. A TIE pilot (Baron Valen Rudor?), Minister Maketh Tua, and Commandant Cumberlayne Aresko are all standing on a small stage only to be knocked off their feet when the TIE Advanced prototype sitting next to them explodes from what appear to be fireworks.

 

Really so that makes him 14 or 15.

 

It makes him 15, as was said in the linked tweet. Ezra has been 14 all throughout the show thus far, however marking Empire Day he'll be 15 years old.
