Full Series Rebels 3.01-3.02 - Steps Into Shadow - Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

Well so much for avoiding spoilers right? Kinda sucks most of us have to read about the episode instead of seeing it but oh well XD
Hopefully they decide to air it on TV shortly after celebration, but that's hoping for too much.

 

And I am really hoping for (tagged) spoilers. Please Celebration people don't be shy about them!

 

Agreed. It seems they're also keeping the Rogue One trailer pretty con exclusive for now.

 

I'm just waiting for thrawn to show up at the end of the episode!

 

With any luck some enterprising person with something like this on their head will be there when they show it, and will thereafter do what must be done.

 

clearly, one episode revolves around a Hondo rescue mission. This implies that Hondo has been imprisoned throughout whatever timeskip might have occurred.

 

That episode is likely the start of the premiere. I mean it looks like it's the first time he uses the saber on screen too.

I would not be surprised if Hondo has been locked up since Legends of The Lasat. Somehow he gets word out and the crew comes to rescue him.

Glad to see Disney learned their lesson from last year about where to show the Rebels premiere. Showing it right after the Rebels panel and on the main stage gives more people there the chance to see it.

Ezra rescues Hondo but also force mind tricks someone to kill themselves which was disturbing to say the least
Kanan is not really helping Ezra at all and later meets the giant who gives him his "sight back" and also gave him the holocron
We see Tarkin again who brings in Thrawn
They then go to steal some Y wings with Hondo who later runs away
They get the Y wings but the station almost kills Ezra

Well, for anyone who has said that Rebels isn't a show for mature audiences, this kind of puts that to bed I guess. Right?

So it looks like a good portion of the trailer is from the premier episode, similar to last year's trailer?

 

I'm thinking the Wedge/Tie Pilots is an episode, and then there is also a Sabine episode. There are probably things in there from two or three other episodes as well.

 

Was that all in 40 minutes?
