Hey Gang!

I have a friend here at work who knows a family that has been hit hard with a family member (Mother)who is batteling round #4 with cancer. Here is a run down of the family:

Nicole ? Mother trying to survive cancer bout #4 at this time. Disney holic. Just ran the Disney triathlon.

Mark ? 13yr old. New Mexico?s Karate Kid. Maintaining B average, in the mist of all the stuff going on with Mom.

Don ? Step dad. Guard at the Pen. triathalete. Movie addict. Great dad.


This is a strong and tight family. They are all into Star Wars big time. So having Vader, stormtroopers, Jedi and Rebels visit them would be a true treat.


I know Saturday is a busy day.....do you think we can pull this off? 15-20 minutes is all!

Jess I am free in the morning and early afternoon. Count me in if you do something during this time! I can sport the TI or Jedi costume.

Stormtrooper would be good! We would have a house to make a quick change 2 houses down. As for the time...I am thinking after the morning troop at the Rio!

 

How far from the 24 do they live? I might be able if we leave a little early from the theatre

I'd REALLY REALLY love to make it but this is a HUGE weekend for me. My cousin's wedding is on Saturday and I start my first day at Walgreens tomorrow so I might not even be able to make the wedding.

The concept - He picks a topic and it gets discussed. I don't know if it's between several different guests, or exactly what. So we may want someone passionate, yet articulate with their words to appear.

He needs someone within an hour or two to book the taping - to take place tomorrow morning - in armor.

He said he wanted people on Saturday and I told him we had 2-3 thingscheduled already so he should contact you.
Since it IS radio, there is no reason for the spokesperson to be costumed, so any of us who is articulate could go on his show, right, while the rest are trooping?

 

Hmmm. No, that wasn't the guy I talked to. This one is Scott Connor and they tape the show tomorrow morning and it will air on Channel 13 next Friday from 9:15 PM to 3:15 AM.

 

Yep, that's who I talked to, Scott Connor, and he was hot to get some of us on his show tomorrow, so I told him to call you.
But he said it was for his Radio show on 770AM KOB which airs Saturday 5pm-7pm...

So he told you it was for TV? The back of the card showed the TV show as airing 2:15 AM - 3:15 AM

 

Ahh. That 2:15-3:15 sounds correct.

But yeah, he was talking about the television taping. Perhaps he does the radio bit live, but then airs the televised version later in the week?

I don't know.
