Full Series Rebels canon level?

Well gosh darnit. I was fully expecting each and every movie they come out with to have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Be in separate universes where one character is doing one thing here and something entirely different in the next movie. Die in one movie and then in the next movie they will be alive and kicking because it's in a completely different universe.

There goes my enjoyment for the whole thing.

In all seriousness though I do wonder what this means for the future of star wars novels. Will they be completely on their own again and get retconned whenever the onscreen world feels like retconning them?

 

Did Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003 -2005) get moved to C canon the TCW came out and became T canon?

Yep. After seeing what was done with Clone Wars Lucas liked the idea of making a tv series but wanted to make his own with his own ideas. So TCW became "T" canon and Clone Wars stayed at 'C' canon.
