    More episode ideas for Rebels:

    Blockade Runners

Rebels of the Ghost meet up with Bail Organa in a remote system and Bail asks them for a favor. Ithorians have angered the Emperor by loudly protesting against Imperial policy on Kashyyyk, Callos and many other worlds which ecosystems are suffering because of the Imperial rule.

Ithor is placed under imperial blockade and there is a dire need of many common goods on the planet. Pacifistic ithorians are helpless so Bail asks rebels to smuggle goods through the blockade. Bail offers to pay for everything but wishes to remain safely anonymous.

Rebels agree and go to Nar Shaddaa to find smugglers to hire for the job. Zeb Orrelios finds his old friend Pakha Tarnelios, Lasat like him, who happens to be in smuggling business and has a cloaked ship they can use.Together with Tarnelios rebels launch a daring relief effort over Ithor to make Empire's blockade useless.

Returning characters: Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orrelios, Hera Syndulla, Chopper, Sabine, Bail Organa, Captain Antilles, R2-D2, C-3po, Jakker-Sun, Momaw Nadon

New Characters: Pakha ArcioTarnelios (Male Lasat) and his crew, Captain Tarillion Dollan(Imperial commander of the blockade, male human), Umwaw Moolis(one of the ithorian leaders)

    Main Locales: Ithor, Nar Shaddaa

    Freedom Fighters

Empire is building a slave trading outpost on planet Orto Plutonia. Pantoran moff Lev-Inile Cho is leader of the project. Senator Riyo Chuchi of Pantora opposes the project and secretly hires the crew of the Ghost (she learns about them from Bail Organa) to smuggle weapons to the local talz and to train them to use them properly.

Idea is that Talz can defend themselves against slave traders and hopefully destroy the Imperial outpost before massive Skyhook is completed for interstellar slave trade.

Bail sends 3po to serve as a translator, 3po doesn't remember his earlier visit there, but talz seem to remember him somehow, which makes 3po feel bit uneasy.

In the end rebels would help talz to destroy the skyhook and return back to their base on Lothal.

Returning characters: Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orrelios, Hera Syndulla, Chopper, Sabine, Riyo Chuchi, Baron Papanoida, Chi Eekway Papanoida, Thi-Sen, Medcha Wanto, C-3po

New Characters: Lev-Inile Cho (male Pantoran, Imperial moff) Captain Chu Pakenoplos (Imperial commander of the slaving outpost, pantoran male)

    Main Locales: Orto Plutonia, Pantora

    From Pantora with Love

Lev-Inile Cho has spied on senator Chuchi's holo transmissions and learns that she has connections to rebellious elements that destroyed his outpost on Orto Plutonia. He however agrees not to reveal that information to Emperor's officials if Chuchi agrees to one condition: to marry him.

Riyo hates Inil-Choo because he is very imperial minded and supports enslavement of certain ”less-individual” species like Talz, but she has to agree to the proposal to save her skin.

Riyo's heart however is promised to another: young senator from Onderon, Lux Bonteri who makes a plan to save Chuchi from her wedding on Pantora. The crew of the starship Ghost helps in this daring attempt to infiltrate into a wedding held in the Temple to the Moon Goddess in the Pantoran capital.

They manage to escape the temple and snowtroopers guarding it, but Chuchi naturally loses her status as senator. She is followed by Chi Eekway (who already served one term as senator during ROTS)

Returning characters: Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orrelios, Hera Syndulla, Chopper, Sabine, Riyo Chuchi, Lev-Inile Cho, Baron Papanoida, Chi Eekway Papanoida, Che Amanwe Papanoida, Lux Bonteri, Palpatine (plus many familiar people in the wedding including Vader (hologram) Tarkin, Almec, Yularen, Panaka, Bail Organa and young Leia, R2, 3po, Mon Mothma, Jar Jar Binks etc.)

New Characters: General Amani Apadol ,Colonel Ivrio Chi-Shan (Pantoran male imperial officers)

    The Flying Dutchman

Jon Vander (The future Gold Leader), a TIE Bomber Pilot, has been ordered to bomb his home planet of Tython. He happens to encounter the Ghost in orbit of the planet. They have a skirmish over it, and they both end up crashing onto the planet's surface. At first, Vander and the Ghost's crew hate each other, coming from opposite ideologies. They argue about what is truly the best form of leadership, and Vander is slowly convinced the Rebels are correct. But then, a mysterious ghost appears, scaring Vander into a deep, dark cave. The Ghost's crew have no choice but to rescue him, seeing how he has a part they need to lift off. They manage to make it through the cave, while discussing what Imperial pilots are taught to believe, and whether they are really responsible for their actions, seeing how they were relentlessly taught one single thing. The eventually catch up to the ghost. There is a lightsaber battle, but they are not able to defeat the ghost because the saber just passes through it. Eventually, Vander manages to overcome his fear and defeat the ghost by sucking it into his life support suit. Feeling indebted to the Rebels, he offers to join the Alliance as soon as he can. When questioned by his superior officer about what happened, Vander says his bombing system failed. He is found to be lying, and then TIE fighters are deployed to kill Vander for defecting. The Ghost's crew manages to save the day. Later on, we see Vander has finally joined the Alliance, and named his squadron "Specter Squadron".

    C-3P0
    Ghost Crew
Cyborg Trench, other surviving CIS Navy officers
    ------------
    Inquisitor
    Piett, Ozzel, Motti
    Palpatine &Vader (holograms)
    Vader (aboard the Executor)
    Yularen (aboard Executor)

    Treasure Hunt

After encountering an old Muun with Rebel sympathies, the Ghost Crew learns of an abandoned secret Intergalactic Banking Clan space station vault and shipyard in the intergalactic void, loaded with credits, warships, and battle droids. They deliver this information to Captain Antilles, a leader of the Alderaanian Resistance, but Imperial spies manage to intercept the transmission. The race is on.

    Race Against Time

A station is located, and the rebels hurriedly get R2-D2, Chopper, and a team of slicers to work reprogramming the droid control computers to reactivate the droids to man the ships, and Trench and the others get to their ships. Imperial agents, including the Inquisitor, arrive ahead of their main fleet in smaller, faster ships and attempt to sabotage these efforts. They fail, and the fleet is ready for action, all droids and ships activated. Trench even has the time to paint his signature pattern on his ship.

    Blast From the Past

A massive fleet of fully armed Munificent frigates, Vulture droids, and Hyena bombers awaits the arrival of the Imperial Navy after detecting a fleet is inbound. They need to protect the station until the vaults are emptied. The Imperial Navy fleet comes out of hyperspace, and the battle begins. The heavy guns of the Munificents, ramming Vulture Droids, and Hyena bombers are tearing the Imperials apart, as they underestimated the rebels, only brought a couple ISD's, and second-line ships such as: Victory Star Destroyers, Venators, Nebulon-B frigates, and CR90 corvettes. They call for backup. Just as the rebels think they are about to win, a fleet ISD's and the Executor itself come out of hyperspace. Upon sighting the SSD, panic ensues. The crews scramble to evacuate the station and get the ships out. The Ghost Crew and Antilles flee in The Sundered Heart and Ghost, several Munificents are seen fleeing. Trench and a few other ex-CIS officers hold out, determined to go out in a blaze of glory. Trench's ship is identified by Yularen, who is shocked to see his old enemy again. Vader shows no emotion. The hold outs and the station are destroyed, Trench's ship remains, he rams an ISD with it, destroying both ships.

^Trench was revived so he could be one of those people that still fight against the Empire for the Confederate cause. Nice idea.

I also like the idea of rebels using CIS ships and other hardware. I don't think that Executor should appear though. In ANH Vader has Devastator as his flagship- so I think that Executor was not yet ready.

    Facade

Bail Organa notices that senator Markelles T'urii has suddenly disappeared from the Imperial senate without warning. T'urii has been Bail's political ally and he fears that Emperor has made something to him. Representative Amario Ley'lya of Bothan Space tells that T'urii had some family business to attend to, but Bail doesn't believe it. He contacts the Ghost, that is returned to Lothal after defeat on Onderon, and it's crew is assigned to search for senator on Bothawui.

When they reach Bothawui they discover that planet has been blockaded and placed on quarantine without senate knowing. Reason behind this is that Bothans have spied on records of imperial army and navy and discovered secret information that reveals terrible truths about the imperial system and it's actions on Kashyyyk, Malastare and countless other worlds.

Emperor learned about this and he has punished Bothans by placing Imperial overseer, a cruel Moff Scur Tagge to keep people of Bothawui in line and silenced about state secrets. Senator T'urii is placed under arrest and representative Ley'lya has been paid to be silent about this and represent Bothan Space as nothing would've happened

The Ghost is detected and it has to flee, but before it can enter Hyperspace it is caught in the tractor beam of a cloaked cruiser. It's not the Empire, but bothan resitance that captures them and soon they become allies in their quest. Bothans from Kothlis, led by Borsk Fey'lya are going to free the senator and entire Bothawui from Imperials. Their stealth technology makes it seem possible.

Returning characters: Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger,Chopper, R2-D2, C-3po, Bail Organa, Zeb Orrelios, Hera Syndulla, Sabine

New Characters: Markeles T'urii (male bothan senator), Scur Tagge (male human moff, cousin of Cassio Tagge), Amario Ley'lya (bothan representative),Koth Melan, Borsk Fe'ylya

    Main Locales: Bothawui, Coruscant

    Infiltration

Bothan spies infiltrate in the Drev'starn, capital of Bothawui and free Markelles T'urii from house arrest. They also infiltrate in the imperial base of Scur Tagge with the help of the Ghost that attacks imperial fleet as a diversion. With minor casualties (mainly for the Empire) Bothawui is freed with stealth and cunning.

Bothans deliver their information to Bail Organa with the Ghost's crew and senator T'urii returns to senate and claims that it seems probable that Tagge took over their world without Emperor's orders. (Knowing well that that's not the case.) Emperor has no other possibility than play along and Scur Tagge is arrested, but he knows that T'urii will be threat to him in the future. He starts to plan a revenge on the bothans....

The crew of the Ghost has gained another planet of allies and rebellion seems to be spreading all over the galaxy.

Returning characters: Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Chopper, Bail Organa, Zeb Orrelios, Hera Syndulla, Sabine, Markeles T'urii, Scur Tagge, Amario Ley'lya,Koth Melan, Borsk Fe'ylya

New Characters: General Rulu Idamnia (Male human, Imperial Officer)

    Main Locales: Bothawui, Coruscant

    O Brother Where Art Thou

We are introduced to Qui-Gon Skywalker, the half-brother Anakin never knew he had. He is the son of Shmi Skywalker and Qui-Gon Jinn and was the result of a one night stand during the night that the Jedi spent at the Skywalker home in TPM. In AoTC Shmi died of her wounds before managing to tell Anakin about his existence.

Since Shmi was still a slave at the time he was born, her new son was sold off, and eventually escaped slavery into the galaxy where he now makes his way as a mercenary.

By chance he encounters Ahsoka Tano who is also a merc working jobs here and there. She quickly realizes that he is latently Force-sensitive, and is also incredulous when he says his mother was from Tatooine and was named Shmi, since that is of course her own former master's story. Taking this as some sort of sign, she starts training him to use the Force.

The implication can be slipped into the ep somewhere that dying Yoda in RoTJ was talking about QGS and not Leia when he said "there is another Skywalker"...

Maybe this should be in the thread "awful Rebels episode ideas". I don't think that thread exists, but maybe it should...

Palpatine had discovered a spare Nightsister after the Clone Wars (perhaps a baby that was abandoned/raised by Talzin after the Battle of Dathomir) and decided to keep her as the Imperial Sorceress to hunt down any remaining Nightsisters, similar to the Inquisitor. Once Son of Dathomir #4 comes out, hopefully we will see the extent of the Nightsisters and if Talzin dies.

Unfortunately, I'm not counting on this. TCW made the Separatists out to be cartoony villains even though technically, weren't they on the good side since they fighting against what was about to become the Empire?

True but the Republic was being led by the Emperor itself and they are portrayed in TCW as the heroes. I understand the CIS may be made of up some shady characters, but I'd like to have seen more shades of grey. TCW made them just seem eeeeevil with people like Nuvo Vindi.

And there's plenty of nasty characters on the Republic side - Tarkin, the Kaminoan Senator, and so forth.

Ok, I posted this in the main Rebels thread, but thought I might post it here too: The first six episodes (plus the prequel shorts) of Star Wars Rebels, provided by the Star Wars Underworld, who got it from Insider magazine:

Episode 101A: “The Machine in the Ghost”
    Directed by Dave Filoni
    Written by Greg Weisman
    Episode101B: “Art Attack”
    Directed by Justin Ridge
    Written by Greg Weisman

    Episode 101C: “Entanglement”

    Directed by Justin Ridge
Written by Henry Gilroy, Simon Kinberg
Episode 101D: “Property of Ezra Bridger”
    Directed by Dave Filoni
    Written by Simon Kinberg

    Episode 102-103: “Spark of Rebellion”

Directed by Steward Lee, Steven G. Lee
    Written by Simon Kinberg
This is the episode we've seen the first 5-7 minutes of, and I think the clip released earlier of the crew on their way to rescue Wookiees and the 'Kanan-is-a-Jedi reveal is also part of this episode.

    Episode 104: “Droids in Distress”

    Directed by Steward Lee
    Written by Greg Weisman
I'd have to guess that this is the episode with 3P0 and R2 in it, but not sure of much else

    Episode 105: “Fighter Flight”
    Directed by Steven G. Lee
    Written by Greg Weisman
    No idea about this one.

Episode 106: “Rise of the Old Masters”
    Directed by Steward Lee
    Written by Henry Gilroy
This one will probably feature Luminara
I've added some of my own thoughts, feel free to add your own.

All clones rebel and a massive battle ensues ending with the clones winning and they become the first-gen Rebel Soldiers which makes the civilians think that the empire isn't "all that" and more people join the rebellion and bam it would be like TCW.

I wouldn't mind seeing some sort minion of the Emperor hunting down relics of the Force such as the Kaiber crystal to which he could potentially become stronger in the Dark Side with. The crew of the Ghost could be stopping the pillaging of the former Jedi treasures.

There needs to be an episode that focuses on the reason why the galaxy hates and the Empire mistrusts the Jedi so much. We know that they were hunted down after an attempted cou on the life the Supreme Chancellor and wanted to somehow to take control of the Senate, but not much more as to why the Empire is hunting every single one them down when only a handful of Jedi masters supposedly tried to kill Palpatine.
