It's just the one every discussion board is linking to. Here's another excerpt:

"I think what we at Lucas....we have a story team that we work very closely here with," Lucasfilm executive producer Matt Fillbrandt says. "And I think games offer a unique opportunity for storytelling that you don't necessarily get of other, linear storytelling devices like books or TV shows or movies; which is exciting in that we have the opportunity have player choice like we have with this game. Am I going to be on the Rebel side or the Empire? So we don't really look at it from a canonical standpoint because the player is effectively making up their story and their experience."

I think the word "don't really look at it from a canonical standpoint" was the only thing people read. :p

Yea, the way I read it was that the player changeable parts of the game are non-canon, like most of the games before this. But pretty much everything else is canon. Which means canon Tie Defender!

I really hope they add zombie Storm Troopers. It'd be fun to have one of the more mocked EU bits (though I liked) added into the canon.

We already had this info from the press kit, but it's nice to see it up on the actual official site:
HoloNet News was the official state-sanctioned news agency of the Empire, with anchor Alton Kastle delivering broadcasts on key issues and occurrences of the day. Briefs were sent via hyperspace transmission that allowed instantaneous connection throughout the galaxy. The HoloNet News was taken over by the Republic during the Clone Wars to ensure that information was not compromised by enemy forces, and became the mouthpiece of the Empire. The Ministry of Information's Pollux Hax oversaw the agency, ensuring that stories were consistent with government messaging.

Well I know we had Death Troopers but having played though Chapter 3 it confirms it is still part of Project Blackwing in the New Canon and not just some other zombie outbreak.

Might as well dump this here. It's not exhaustive (and may even have a couple things on it that were new and just sounded familiar for some reason), but this is the stuff I felt compelled to write down as I was reading.

Actually, upon reflection, there are a few things (like Meiloorun) that aren't even from the book but came up during the time I was reading it. Ah, well. [face_talk_hand]

Ah yes, of course. I was kinda hoping that Tarkin told us a little more about him. More to the point, is he still a sallow-skinned, purple-wearing, long-faced humanoid? Is he still a he, for that matter?

Spoiler: he's a gelatinous otherdimensional being now. There's always gotta be one.

I would add that the 2008 Clone Wars movie novelization, which is also canon, does makes a mention to Siri Tachi, which makes her canon as well.

Was there a reference to Siri in there? That's...interesting. I've heard Siri would potentially have had a larger role in those books but...well, who knows what's canon and what isn't. I suppose it'll depend on how they want people to view Obi-Wan and if they think putting her in his past in any form is worth it.

Considering what they've said on the novelizations I really doubt she's back in canon.

a few things I noticed to add to Cooper's list (I'm sure I missed a bunch too)
A lot of galactic geography stuff such as Eriadu being near Naboo, some names of areas etc.
    Janus Greejatus
    Sate Pestage
Chagrian (pretty sure Amedda's species was never identified in the movies or TCW)
Outland Regions Security Force (background of it has been changed a bit, Tarkin isn't the founder anymore)
    Kooriva and Kooriva Sector
Passel Argente (same as Chagrian, don't think he was named in the movies or TCW)
    Yag'Dhul
    Falleen (planet)
    Ruusan
    Gossam
Luceno also added quite a bit of new stuff it seems, a few planets and some high ranking imperials. Or they might be such obscure references that even the wook doesn't have anything on them. :p

The Mon Cal shipyards were technically canon, as even the Official Site calls the "Rebel Star Cruisers" from ROTJ Mon Calamari cruisers. But this would be the first official mention of the shipyards, so that is cool.

Jello told me a Mon Cal cruiser was even mentioned in the book. Can you share any other details?

It was a luxury liner, the Stellar Vista. The book mentioned it had 10k passengers on board but that was about it.
