But the sith shrine mentioned in Tarkin was supposed to be much older. Maybe the sith were in control of Coruscant (also) at a much earlier date.

Darcc was also in Dark Lord as the captain of the Executrix. So I guess in Canon, he stayed in the same role for 20 years instead of being stationed on Kashyyk.

I just realized tosay that the YT-2000 has been recanonized.

It is a day of celebration for me, as X-Wing Alliance was a big part of my young life.

Sent from Hell--depending on whether or not it exists.

I've been saying for ages that Lucas intended for Darth Bane to have created the Rule of Two "thousands" of years ago, long before the "extinction" of the Sith. TCW mentions that Darth Bane is "not forgotten", which wouldn't make sense if he wasn't known about to begin with.

Funny enough the Star Wars Underworld Podcast talked about Bane and Re-Canonization in general: http://www.starwarsunderworld.com/2018/09/the-swu-podcast-live-280918.html

How many minutes/seconds into the Podcast do they start talking about Bane and re-canonization?

Welcome back, old thread. Back in the days when the new canon was still mostly a trickle of content and it was relatively easy to track what was being recanonized and what wasn't. Solo and its visual guide would have blown the doors off this thread if it had been active four months ago.

Believe it or not, I actually thought about this thread yesterday when I thought I saw a Kian'thar in the new Resistance trailer (alas, it was actually a Quarren with truncated tentacles).

Well now I kinda want to get back into this
Finished Phasma, and there is a reference to the Kath Hound, originally from Knights of the Old Republic.

Even among the huge amount of references in Solo and its related material, Tales from Vandor is an absolute gold mine. Dash, Sonniod, Stars' End, Bollux, Jonash e Solo... I suppose the only mitigation is a lot of the references are purposefully included as in-universe tall tales and fabrications, especially anything relating to Han's origins, so some of them specifically aren't true despite being name-checked.

Or you could glass-half-full it and say that it implies the "Legends" banner is literal, as in "These are legends told in the Star Wars." In which case it's all "canon".

Zak and Tash Arranda are canon (they will appear in Star Wars Adventures' tenth issue)
