If you know how to cook 3-way chili. I guess it's a back east thing.

It seems that they are a bit odd in Ohio.
Chili served on spaghetti?
So what do you do with meat balls and maranara?

-D-

Hey, don't knock it til you try it. It's yummy.
And everyone knows meatballs and maranara simmer in the pot for hours and then are served with crackers.

IP No sweat... Those 2 years working for cheap-skate, slave labor mongering buttheads was almost worth the recipes I took away from their restaurants. :p

Now, I gave kreleia & Wenchy my Spaghetti Sauce Recipe. So, you'll have to bug them for that one [face_mischief]

EDIT: Oh, and Mick... They have that kind of chili at the bar across the way from the Indy ConCenter... We'll have to see how they hold up to your scrutiny at C3 :D ;)

Chicken Waikiki Beach

Chicken - I use the Even Cook Boneless Chicken Breasts from Sam's Club. But any chicken will do.
1/2 c. flour
1/3 vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

sauce

1 can (1lb 4oz) sliced pineapple in syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 c. apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 chicken bouillon cub
1 large green pepper, cut in 1/4 in. circles

[ol][li]Take defrosted chicken and coat it with flour (you can put it in a baggie and shake it)[/li][li]Heat Oil in a large skillet. Add chicken and brown on both sides. Remove to shallow roasting pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper.[/li][li]Preheat oven to 350 degrees[/li][li]Drain pineapple, pouring syrup into 2-cup measure. Add water to make 1 1/4 cups.[/li][li]In medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and bouillon cube: bring to boiling, sitrring constantly. Boil 2 minutes. Pour over chicken.[/li][li]Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes. Add pineapple slices and green pepper and bake 30 minutes longer. Serve with rice.[/li][/ol]

I was just playing with you on the crackers you know...

Actually the only recipes involving crackers I can think of are of course with chili and salmon patties (A Lenten staple)

Mayo on lima beans!! [face_shocked]

That is possibly the most disgusting thing I've heard all day! **SHIVER**

Turns out Ohioans are wierder than I thought! ;) But they must be of Spainsh decent. My parents have just moved to Spain for seven months and they've already reported that the Spainards LOVE mayonaise...not just like...LOVE. Apparently they serve it with every meal...no kidding...EVERY MEAL. And not just a teaspoon or so, we're talking a great heaping pile of mayo on everyone's plate. Mayo for breakfast, mayo for lunch, mayo for dinner...

EEEEEWWWWW!
