Recording your voice and distorting it to sound like Vader?

Does anyone know of a way to record your voice and then distort it to sound like Darth Vader's without the voice changer toy? I have a friend who has a few good audio programs, so if I need those I can go over to his house and record some stuff. I personally have Cool Edit Pro 2, if it's possible to do this with that.

Does anyone know how?

 

I can't rememeber there being an option within Cool Edit that would allow you to do that, BUT

if you can breathe heavily in a big gulp glass and record it, then record a deep voice of what you'd like and put it togheter in Cool Edit, then you'll be ok.
