Recurring problem in Star Trek: Elite Force

    Everytime I play for awhile, no matter what I'm doing, the game will freeze and an error message comes up saying "stvoy.exe has encountered a problem and needs the close". This happens everytime I play. I tried downloading the official patch, but all that happens when I try to load is the game freeze when I try to load a game. Can anyone help me on this?

    could be realted to directx9.0 or 9.0a , update to 9.0b, there was a bunch of issues with previous direct x 9 versions
